Fine, but what difference should that make? I'm as Yankee as they come and I see no threat in anyone wearing the confederate flag on their clothes, displaying it on the truck or flying it from their home. Why should anyone feel threatened by it?
every time i think you are lost & beyond hope, you say something actually 1/2-smart.
ROTFLMAO!

Through censorship? I don't think so! The only way this can be justified is if the school requires uniforms. These students need to let it be known that racist, liberal whining offends THEM! I hope some law suits are in the works against the schools in question.

"Mr. Sebring; You people ought to be ashamed of yourselves! You do not deserve to call yourself southerners OR Georgians. I thank God that when my daughter was in school that I was able to find alternatives to subjecting her to the kind of despicable, bureaucratic bullshit that left-wing NEA automatons inject into the government indoctrination camps laughingly referred to as public schools. I hope the parents of the students who were forbidden to wear the Confederate flag, a proud and noble symbol of Southern heritage, black and white, will sue everyone involved in this flagrant disregard of the first amendment (you do know what that is don't you? Or were you "educated" in public school as well?) You know, there are a growing number of Americans that are sick to death of being offended brazenly and constantly by the likes of bureaucratic brown nosers in the interest of keeping the very few from being offended in the slightest. Don't you see the hypocrisy here? If you are so dead set against kids displaying the Confederate flag in school, then make it a policy not to allow ANY emblems or slogans and quit picking and choosing which students do and do not have the right to free speech.
A concerned citizen and grandparent."
Tolerance of the liberal issues. Surely you realize by now that tolerance is a one-way street. Silly! What were you thinking?
Well, they did try banning the flag on the General Lee before the movie came out.
They have probably never been FReeped before. They may change their minds after this. I hope they regret the day they made this decision.
Not as long as there is a proud southerner who draws a breath.
