Today Sean Hannity played "The Ballad of Mike Moran" a.k.a. "The Fireman Song"
For those who don't remember it, the song's authors, 'Doug from Upland' and 'Vetnet' met right here on Free Republic and publicly penned the song and got it produced with the encouragement of many of their fellow Freepers. The website for the song is at www.firemansong.com
To hear an MP3 of the song, please email me and I'll send you download instructions. (for Freepers only)
Sean also played Toby Keith's terrific song, "Courtesy of the Red White and Blue"

Hi Alisasny! Yes, please send him our thanks!
I had about a dozen phone calls from Freepers all over the country, while the song was playing!
I hope Sean appreciates how many people (especially Freepers) listen to his show. When Doug and I wnet to his Yorba Linda event, he specifically asked if their were Freepers in the audience. (we hooted & hollared & he laughed and treated us great!)
Thanks again for your help.

Is Sean Hannity a registered Freeper do you think? I think it was yesterday that I saw the thread hoping this song would get played.
BTW, it's already 9/11 where I am- but is still a ways to go to be the same time of day it was...
Never forget.
To: Vetnet
In 1968, my brother was a fireman in Newark, NJ and during the riots his captain was shot and killed while responding to a fire.
I find it a little coincidental with the "Ballad of Mike Moran" because my brother's fire captain was MIKE MORAN!

Great news! Dutchy, do you think you might thank Sean when you see him on Saturday?
