A few days ago, the California ISO was suppose to have automatic load shedding equipment drop load in an underfrequency event, but the system didn't work and they went underfrequency and had to mannually step in to get things back in order. Now, the Cal ISO has had another "glich" in its automatic system that is suppose to protect electric power reliability.

I honestly doubt that the Clowns at the Cal ISO can get their act together. I think that FERC is right in trying to change the management of this Keystone Cops group before they black out the entire west coast of the US! This is getting to be pathetic. I hope someone in California starts to hold these people accountable.

NOTE: If you are trying to access the link to the daily report after a couple days the Sept 13th Daily report will be taken from the Today's Daily report and put into the archieves so you will need to go to the main page of
http://www.wecc.biz
and then go to the archieves area and pull up the article.

You think that it is bad in about to be dark Kali, just wait until this Watermelon Blackout Kali Bill starts to have an impact: (California adopted the nation's most ambitious renewable-energy goals Thursday, when Gov. Gray Davis signed a bill requiring that 20 percent of utilities' electricity be produced from renewable sources, such as solar, wind and geothermal, by 2017. )

OK, once and for all: It's not Opps, it's Oops.

The first is pronounced "ahps". Why do people constantly spell this wrong???
