Very true. An early invasion does not help them politically. They would prefer to approve this after the November elections.

BTW, I consider all Democratic complaints to be politically motivated by the midterm elections. I think they want to go in as much the next guy. They are not stupid or ill-intentioned; they know Saddam has to go. They just don't like the timing on this.

Let's not forget Tony Blair's dossier on Iraq involvement with Al-Queda. The inspections, the democrats stalling, and the U.N. will become moot at the point President Bush and Prime Minister Blair connect the final dots. Sadam is playing checkers in a chess match.
