This is a perfect opportunity to insert an assasin in Iraq to take Saddam out permanently.

"Do you think Scott Ritter will petition to get his job back?"
I think he'd qualify for "pi$$ boy" [as in History of the World, Part I] don't you?

One problem I see is that ths gives the Democrats an excuse to drag their feet on debating a war authorization.

Just wait until the UN gets told "no discussion" with Iraq -- inspectors in now and not headed by Annan's hand picked appeaser for Iraq!
Not to mention inspectors were not even mentioned in Bush's speech. What about the rest of the UN resolutions that Iraq is not honoring? Do they not matter to Annan.
Seems to me that Annan took the inspectors which were not even mentioned as the primary problem and now he has declared this crises over. Time for Annan to get tossed out along with Sadaam!
Fox did an excellent job of covering this with Brit and his panel!

that's okay... I missed it... My husband would appreciate it though...
I think it may work out okay... They say it will take two months to work it out, that's right around election day... I'm sure Bush foresaw this coming and already has a plan in place that be implemented sooner... Iraq refuses and voila election day...

Blix or Blixen(?) and team. Hume said this guy will NOT be accepted.
BTW....Kofi is giving credit to the Arab League for brokering this deal.
