Iraq is free of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, the country's foreign minister told the United Nations in a speech Thursday that included excerpts of a letter from Saddam Hussein.

Well, I guess that settles it. Time to move on.

"tell us which places and scientific installations they would wish to see"

Unless they are places where we have weapons hidden and of course the answer then is no.

/end unconditional return of "UN inspections team" rant

Maybe they are thinking if a nuclear weapon is in three pieces on a table it's not a weapon.

What a MISquote!!!! I heard the speech, and Foreign Minister Naji Sabri of Iraq said "Iraq IS NOW free of Nuclear and Biological Weapons". I even said outloud "NOW?"

Did they give them to someone else? OR, are they simply lying. But either way, it was a slip of tongue. Then to see it reported out of context is even worst. Sheesh!!

Translation: all our anthrax is pre-positioned in New York, Washington, London, Berlin, Munich, Paris, Rome, etc. You can search Iraq high and low, and you'll never find a thing! Neeener-neeener-neeener!

Did you notice that there is nothing from "the other side" here? Then again, it is the anti-American AP. They, Reuters and The New York Times go hand in hand.

hmmm...something probably got lost in the translation...they probably meant to say they have free nuclear weapons to anyone who would attack the US.
