Drugs were being used long before the 60s. The first drug laws were under WW (cocaine) & FDR (marijuana). The president who spent the most on the drug war and arrested the most was Bill Clinton. How about naming some democrats trying to legalize drugs.

But if a nation believes that attacking its enemies and dying in the process guarantees its citizens instant transformation to an honored spot next to allah in Heaven, then what we call deterrence is their answer to fervent prayer.

The fact that all 18 hijackers on 911 were going to die did not deter them. It urged them on. They were going to eternal life and luxury in total happyness. Eternal life and luxury in total happyness is an attraction not a deterrent.

Maybe the proper "deterent" in this case would be to tell this enemy, who incidentally has a deep aversion to a certain barnyard animal, that from now on, a death and burial at our hands will guarantee that he will face allah totally dishonored and ineligible to enter heaven.

And how long will it take before the rest of the potential dominoes, Iran, Syria, Yemen, Libya, North Korea, China, etc. realize that they would be better off to join forces and attack us immediately instead of waiting until we pick them off one at a time?

Well, if those countries were as fat, happy and stupid as American leftists, they'd never figure it out until they'd already been hit and beaten.

Do you really think they will be? I doubt it.
