I'm listening to Hugh Hewitt right now, he has Jim McDermott (Pacifist-Washington) on. McDermott after walking a thin line during the interview just said this is all about oil. GWB is finishing what his father couldn't. Makes you wonder, if this was about oil in 1990, why didn't we take the Iraqi oil fields?

It is a radical departure from traditions that have shaped our nation's policy by Democratic and Republican presidents for more than 50 years," Carter told reporters.

Hey Jimmy, thanks for getting the Shah thrown out of Iran and ushering in a group of pro-americans .....

HEY GORE - GET A CLUE!

THE REASON YOU COULD NOT HAVE A JOINT APPEARNACE WITH OSAMA BIN LADEN IS BECUASE HE IS MORE DEAD THAN YOU AND YOUR WORTHLESS RHETORIC.

Uh, because acknowledging that wouldn't make the Republicans and Bushes look evil enough?

What do I win?

leave Iraq dangerously unstable and destroy the international goodwill

Iraq is beyond unstable and Goron thinks it will get better by itself? Gore and Saddam have gone beyond lightspeed, beyond ridiculous speed, and went striaght to ludicrous speed. Gore has finally gone plad. Fortunately George Bush brakes for no one.

Lets Roll !

Of course the libs don't want Bush to have an overwhelming victory and liberation of the Iraqi. It will make him unbeatable in 04, and they know it.

"If you are going after Jesse James you ought to organize the posse first,"

My talk radio station led wih this quote this afternoon on the drive home. I laughed my face off - it was so inane!

Yeah, Al... Maybe if we send Saddam some tanks and airplanes, he will be nice to us.

If Gore had a half a brain, or a soul, the title of the article would have read, "Gore warns of attack BY Iraq"...

Poor little Gore, desperately trying to seem significant in some whiny little way - WHEN HE'S NOT!!! It's great that he'll be running again, because it will totally mess up the Democrats. Just like the first time, he'll help us to (re)elect Bush president. Thank you, Mr. Gore!

"...So old Al is back on the weed now..."

I can visualize a semi-stoned algore making these 'remarks' in snippets as he repeatedly comes up for air while sucking Tipper's face and dry-humping one of her ample thighs...

The White House responded by saying that Al QAEDAGore is irrelevant.
Perfect!

I've got a question... what on earth makes this numb-skull think that *his* perceptions and opinions on America's defense against terrorism matter?

I watched the entire broadcast of the House Int'l Affairs Committee with Colin Powell... the Administration's position is very persuasive, and I believe, honestly geared towards PROTECTING US.

What did ol' China-pal and Bubba do towards that end?

"If you are going after Jesse James you ought to organize the posse first,"

Yup, he's the guy I want organizing the posse all right.

Wonderful response by the Whitehouse, "irrelevant". Were W and crew honest, they would have said " Gore is irrelevant as to fixing it, but very relevant as to the current problem with terrorism--8 long years and nothing done. We're going to do it. You are with us, or against us. The Rat's leadership is obviously not the former."

Pathetic. Now he's emulating W's Texas way of talking. I watched the speech and he put everybody to sleep. He counts to three between each word.

The liberal (aka mainstream) press has been cutting Democrat leaders to pieces for kowtowing to Bush and not taking a principled stand on this issue. Obviously, Democrats can't say what they really think because they're in the throes of an election.

But Gore isn't running for anything. He can say anything he wants and with this speech, he will be branded courageous and heroic by the press. They will be praising Gore up and down for not bowing to public opinion--for standing on principle--blah, blah. That's why he's out there now.

Democrats who might be thinking of a presidential bid must be sweating bullets. Gore's getting a big jump on them because you know after the election's over, Democrats who have designs on the WH are going to play to the far left (e.g. anti-war) wing of their party. Any votes, resolutions, etc. granted to Bush regarding the war will be downplayed, rationalized, demonized (even though they would have voted for them).

But Gore's already outflanked them. This is great to see. Puff Daschle, El Loco Poco Dicko, John Fitzgerald Kerry, Bob (Clinton is an unusually good liar) Kerrey, John (pretty boy) Edwards are being left behind in the dust.

Look for Gore to pop up on a weekly (if not daily basis) with this anti-Bush rhetoric. It serves his political plans very well.
