This development would raise his eyebrows — if he had any.

Classic!

This Democratic Party has been hijacked by the Clintons. It exists in name only. This virus has invaded the DNC, and is using the money and resources of the DNC to push their own agenda, most of which has nothing to do with 40% of the American people who say that they are democrats.

Therefore, the Democratic Party has ceased to exist. It is now and forever to be know as the CLINTON Party.

" the rats are walking all over Bush"--What are you talking about? It sure isn`t whats going on in the real world. The Rats had a horrible Sept., Oct. looks worse, and then they are going to get hammered in the Nov. election. GWB is just fine.

The dems are all so perfectly made for each other, aren't they? Next up will be a love-in with Gebhart (barbra's spelling) and Dashole (my spelling), showing their deep solidarity.

HehHeh. And in the senate, Hitlery and Chuckie will be looking to push each other down the stairs in an effort to grab Tiricelli's seat on the senate finance committee. Group them all together, Shumer, Hitlery, Boxer, Pelosi, Nadler, etc. etc. and they would make the Osbournes look like the Cleaver family. The one trait these dims have in common is boundless selfishness.

Excellent. I'm not at all sure who would win this food fight, Gephardt or Pelosi. But it's great to see the Dems splitting down the middle like this.

Clinton held them together, because he was a huge fund-raiser and was coated with teflon. But their coalition is basically unstable. The only people they can absolutely rely on now are abortion-lovers and sexual perverts. Even blacks have no inherent reason to support them, although they have been supporting them by a towering 90% in the last few elections, because they have given very little in return for this loyalty. The same with Jews and Catholics.

It takes a long time for a major political party to disintegrate, and there are still tons of left-wingers at all the levers of power in our country, but we may be seeing the beginning of a shift in power that could wipe out the Democrat party or splinter it into Greens, Abortionists, Black Power advocates, Gay-Lesbians, Marxist Socialists, etc., etc.

"Gebhardt" and Pelosi are both returning from Hawaii. They were at the funeral for Patsy Mink. I guess this story just goes to show how back-stabbing the RATS are. When the red tides run, the fish begin eating each other... may the red tide clog their gills.

The Baghdad Wing is revolting (pun intended) and I hope they win. It could only help the Republicans (and America).

Actually, I am not really amused. The only good that will come from this is that the far left of the democrats will cook their own goose on this.

In the meantime, it makes things more difficult on presenting a united front, as you have pointed out.

Please explain concisely how President Bush could have rid us of the Clintons.

I don't know what digger's point was, but GW should have discretely investigated the Clintons for their misdeeds while in office, and he should have proscecuted any criminal acts that were commited. In the interest of a "new tone in Washington", GW moved on. I think this was a mistake. And a future including another "President Clinton" could be the ultimate price to be paid.

If it's going to be a "food fight," I'm putting my money on Nadler.

I agree Bush is doing well in the polls. But yes, the rats are walking all over him. "Bush knew." Cartoon ad of Bush kicking the elderly down the stairs. The most partizan senate since the Civil War, blocking every Judicial appointment he makes. No vote on his Homeland Defense bill. Visiting Baghdad to badmouth him. Stripping him of several issues, such as School Choice. Blaming the economy on his tax cut. The list goes on and on. Bush might win back the senate. But 'playing it close to the vest' with those scandals was a big gamble. Sure he would have started a partizan brawal if he had allowed the investigations to go unhindered. Sure his approval numbers would not have been as high. But it would have destroyed the DNC. We would have had a new liberal party by now, with very little power, if Bush had allowed justice to move forward unhindered.

OMG! The Socialist wing of the DNC is getting way out of hand! This is getting more and more dangerous to our Republic, our freedoms, and our security! The Clinton regime is the single biggest threat to our nation in it's history.

Truer words were never spoken!

But one last time, if President Bush went after the Clintons in a way that would have made us all happy, he would have been destroyed by the Democrats and their friends in the media. How many times in the past two years has there been a major assault against President Bush. One of the things that protects him is that the media has not been able to paint him as a evil man, the truth is, most Americans trust him. Look what the Media has done with other's in the Republican party when they attempted to point out the corruption of the left. I firmly believe that the President and his staff came into office knowing they were going to face this type of attack and have found a way to deflect it.

Good points all.

Well, I'll give credit to Gephardt for breaking with party lines and doing what's right for America. For some reason, The leftist Dems have forgotten they are working in the best interest of their constituents- not themselves.
