Though Sanchez was long cited as a supporter of G.W. Bush in 1998 gubernatorial reelection, it was revealed this past week that Sanchez did not actually cast a vote in 1998 for anyone. Now he is urging a large voter turnout, expecially in his strongholds of South TX, SW TX, central Houston, and central Dallas.

Hm. "If you don't vote Democrat, you're a racist."
I could swear I've heard that before.

I could swear I've heard that before. No kidding! The turd balls at the Dallas Morning News (which is getting worse by the day) ask frequently "whether Texas is ready for an African-American senator."

"It's been remarkable how little race has played a role in this campaign," Sanders said. "I know you'd like it to, I know the Republicans would like it to." Typical lying, race-baiting, sleazeball Democrat.

Last night, a caller to Austin's talkradio show, "The Flip Side," who countered a Sanchez rally in Canyon, TX, said that candidate Sanchez endorses affirmative action legislation. When his fellow protestors inform Sanchez supporters that their man prefers preferential treatment for certain races over others (via quotas, set-asides, timetables, and the like) that's when Sanchez starts playing the race card and complains about the resistance to his run in west and north Texas.

For me it's his heritage of dealing with Mexican drug lords and his heritage of using language to divide people. Also his heritage of being pro-abortion, pro-gay agenda, pro-affirmative action, anti-standards for teachers, in other words it's his very liberal democrat heritage I hold against him. What a loser. I'm very glad Dan Morales has come out in support of Perry.

I wonder if Tony Sanchez voted for Alan Keyes. Maybe not because Tony Sanchez really is a racist.

Welll, Sanchez, even if they did like you before, you certainly won't endear youself with comments like that...
To: Chad Fairbanks
Gee, Tony, is your heritage the reason Dan Morales doesn't like you?
To: FITZ

Is Dan Morales trying to court Republican protection for his problems associated with his past involvement in the tobacco settlements for Texas? Wouldn't bet against that.
To: Illbay
Of course Americans are ill prepared for ethnic politics thanks to decades of Frankfurt School propaganda. If Texas or America had real leadership they would immediately challenge Sanchez's assertion of moral superiority while at the same time condemn his race baiting divisiveness. This could be done with a sentence or two confidently delivered and it would push him back to his base of typical Dimocrats and keep the soccer moms out of his camp.

Hey Tony, your polling data is that bad, is it? Gotta bring out the old desperate race card, eh? Guess what, Tony, you'll still lose, looser.
To: Theodore R.
Voting for Sanchez solely because he is hispanic is good. Voting against Sanchez because he is hispanic is racist and bad.
Nope. No hypocracy here.
To: Theodore R.
West Texas will oppose Sanchez because he's a doofus. I lived there for nearly a decade, and they may be the most level-headed people in the entire country.

LOL... must be... apparently Dan Morales isn't a 'real hispanic'... he's an Uncle Tomas... ;0)
To: Theodore R.
My thanks to Mr. Sanchez for starting my day with a laugh.
To: FITZ
But black Republicans are "Uncle Toms" and therefore voting for them is FAR WORSE than voting for the lily-whitest Democrat there is.

Oh, and in contrast, Bill Clinton was our "First Black President" (Toni Morrison).
