Is this that sacred private ceremony they were going to have? On another note, wonder how many times Wellstone's going vote next Tuesday?

Did wellstone and family get buried yesterday or are they up front in their coffins?
To: fhillary2
If the body had been more intact, they could have him campaign a la Weekend at Bernie's.
To: Paul Atreides
What is "Weekend at Bernie's"? I have heard it referred to in the Lousenberg mess, too!
Movie? TV?

The Wellstone family told the Vice President he was not welcome. One FReeper said that a family is entitled to have who they want at a funeral, and this is certainly true. However, it was still a rude, graceless and highly political decision, and speaks volumes about what these people are like. Not the "loyal opposition" methinks.

Today is A PUBLIC MEMORIAL THAT THEY UNINVITED VICE PRESIDENT CHENEY TO NOT COME TO BECAUSE HE WOULD DISRUPT THE DEMOCRATS PUBLIC MEMORIAL DEMO RALLY.

Must be like that Monte Python movie. "Bring out your dead"...
To: Geezerette
They have the formula taken from the movie that doesn't get shown often enough.
The Manchurian Candidate.
When Lieberman starts to lose his popularity, he had better stay away from small aircraft. There are too many coincidences.
I can't believe how stupid Americans can be to swallow this
stuff.

The stench of burning sulphir is overwhelming. The pained screams of the eternally damned Paul are terrible to the ears. But, it is the presence of Hillie and Willie that is truely obsene. Hillie had Paul killed! She knew he would win another term and, thuse, be positioned to run against her for the Presidential nomination in 2008.
It was better to get Paul out of the way today, while her motive was less clear. She used family resources who Willie's friends in the NTSB will protect, and just like Vince Foster and Ron Brown, Paul's murder will never be solved.
Have you ever seen such filth and corruption in the same place? I'm surprised the festivities weren't in Russian.
In retrospect, I guess it is good that Hillie murdered Paul and that he is dead. It should be easier in 2008 to run against the left leaning criminal than against an American hating communist who would have done anything to destroy this country. Hillie, at least, can be bought as can most of her relatives and in-laws.
