How brilliant!
Next time, if a real radical lib opposes him, like Kukovich, don't vote for Specter. Make Kukovich Senator, and be proud.
Cut your nose and spite your face.

I voted against Specter once which was In 1992 when I voted for John Perry. I regret it and I thank God that Lynn Yeakle didn't win. Imagine Sen. Yeakle right now.

Are you people demented?
Why do you want to primary Specter?
The Club for Growth is the most brilliant organization in the world. They campaigned hard against Greg Ganske and weakened to the point that he couldn't beat Harkin. Now they have Senator Harkin again. The dumb inane morons should have less principles and more common sense.
I like and support Pat Toomey, but not if he runs against Specter.

Why do you want to primary Specter? Because he has a lifetime ACU rating of 42
The Club for Growth is the most brilliant organization in the world.
The also got RINO Marge Roukema of N. J. (lifetime ACU rating of 51) replaced with a good conservative. Much more significantly they got the RINOs looking over their shoulders on key votes.
I like and support Pat Toomey, but not if he runs against Specter.
I will vote for Specter in the general. I will vote against him in the primary. You cannot ask anything more of anyone.

Arlen Specter is one of the President's most loyal supporters. <<
You must confusing "Scottish Law" Arlen with another Specter. The one in the U.S. Senate votes the "conservative" position a whooping 40% of time (lifetime average), which means he supports the LIBERALS position the other 60% of the time.
I remember lurking on FR in 1998 when most Pennsyvania freeper vowed NEVER to support Scottish Law man again. (you can thank Arlen for Clinton gloating that a majority of Senators WOULD NOT VOTE to convict him) Now we have some freepers who won't even vote against him in the primary. In addition to post #16, here's just a few items that Arlen Specter supported in the last year alone:
Voted YES for McCain-Feingold CFR
Voted NO on Republican IRA bill
Voted NO on eliminating marriage penalty
Voted NO on school vouchers
Voted NO on freedom for the Boy Scouts
Voted YES on taxpayer funded needles for dope addicts
Voted NO on killing the pork-barrel Byrd (D-WV) amendment
Voted YES to put the U.S. under the International Criminal Court
Voted YES on the Jeffords Dairy Cartel
It's far past time to retire Arlen before he becomes another Jeffords. Since Santorum holds office, there is a clear mandate that a conservative CAN be elected statewide in Pennsyvania. Any smart freeper will be doing everything in their power to find a REAL Republican candidate to run for the U.S. Senate.

BillyBoy, it's not "Scottish Law Specter," it's "Magic Bullet Specter." A Senator is forbidden by the Constitution to change nicknames.
Besides, show some respect for the man who made the most dramatic forensic discovery of the past century: i.e., a 6.5MM bullet can make right turns, loops, probably do a perfect Immelmann, pass through multiple targets, and emerge unscathed.
Remember the show "Quincy, ME?" Where do you think they got the idea?

Another thing I like about Santorum is his support for telecommuting....... spouse and I worked tirelessly for his election in 1994. Our old car still carries his bumper sticker. He won by only about 1% the first time and it was we diehard broken glass repubs who made the difference.
