On Target: Undercover abortion tapes (part 3)

The market to provide reproductive health services, including abortion, can be a profitable one. It can be so lucrative, one pro-life organization based in Denton claims some North Texas clinics may possibly be willing to break the law. WB 33's Dawn Tongish has more in her “On Target” investigation.

This undercover operation, shared exclusively with WB33, reveals what may be widespread disregard for laws that shield kids from abuse. The pro-life organization that initiated this sting believes these clinics are failing to protect children, choosing profits instead.

She says she’s a 13-year-old girl, pregnant by an older man.

That's the call that came into family planning and abortion clinics across North Texas. The caller is actually an adult pretending to be teen. Clinics didn't know the call was a set-up.

"They aren't interested in coming out and saying, ‘Oh yeah, we cover up for pedophiles all the time.’ They aren't going to say that,” said activist Mark Crutcher. “So the only way to do that was to go undercover."

Crutcher’s group, Life Dynamics of Denton, spearheaded the sting.

Life Dynamics staged more than 800 calls to clinics, including 18 in North Texas. Crutcher says in 91 percent of the calls, they found evidence that facilities are ignoring laws meant to protect children.

“We are looking at the largest criminal conspiracy in history and the victims are children,” said Crutcher. “The Mafia never did anything worse then this."

This call came to Trinity Valley Women's Clinic, where it seems the employee suggests a way around the law that says a parent must be notified before a minor gets an abortion. The employee talks about bringing in a man to pose as a parent.

Clinic: "Gosh, even if he was older, we have to see their driver's license and we can't prove they're not your mom or dad. They just have to swear on an affidavit here in our office that says that they are your parent.” Caller: "Yeah, I see.” Clinic: "I mean, you know, I’m not even suppose to be telling you this, but there's no way that I can know for a fact that who you bring in here is not your mom or dad."

We took the tape to that clinic in Fort Worth to get an explanation.

The clinic said the woman on the tape wasn’t there, and asked us to leave. We did reach the clinic employee by phone.

We played the tape, confronting her with her own recorded voice.

She told us, "I can tell you I told her that she has to sign an affidavit, putting her life in jeopardy, if she's not the true parent.“

When we asked her about bringing in someone else to pose as her parent, she said, “Thank you very much,” and hung up the phone.

We also wanted to get answers from West Side Clinic in Fort Worth. In a call that came in there, an employee suggested sending a letter that may or may not reach a parent.

Clinic: "And if the letter comes back to us, it doesn't matter---even if it comes back, it's returned, it doesn't get to your parents. And after 48 hours if we don't hear anything from anybody, or we get the letter back, we can schedule you for an appointment even though you are underage."

At the clinic, we found a woman who said she was the director.

KDAF: “So that wouldn't be something you would tell them that it would be okay, if the letter came back?”

Clinic Director: "No.”

KDAF: “Well, that's what Dawn told her.”

Clinic Director: "That's what Dawn told a girl? Dawn told her that?”

KDAF: “Yes. Did Dawn make a mistake?”

Clinic Director: "No, she didn't make a mistake. That's not what she said.”

KDAF: “Well then, would you like to hear this tape? I've got it right here. We can go in a back room and you can listen to it.”

Clinic Director: “No, play it for the corporate office, if you want."

We tried to call the corporate office, but the phone has been off the hook for weeks.

We also wanted answers from clinics that are accused of violating the law requiring medical providers to report suspected child abuse. Police investigators say a minor seeking a pregnancy test or birth control should prompt a report.

In a written statement, Planned Parenthood told us they fully comply with child welfare reporting obligations, according to spokesperson Kathryn Allen.

But in this call to one of their centers, an employee indicates a girl getting a pregnancy test won't trigger a report.

Caller: "Well, does anybody have to know about, like, getting a pregnancy test?” Clinic: "No. Nobody has to know anything. You just walk in. You can be 10 years old and walk in and get a pregnancy test and nobody has to tell anybody."

State Abortion Task Force member Carol Everett said, "These clinics don't care about minors or they wouldn't be talking to that child that way."

Everett used to own abortion clinics. She says it was standard practice to target teens, who are seen as possible repeat customers. Everett says in the calls, the only concern seems to be the clinic’s bottom line.

"If this were truly about helping the girl, they would stop the call and say, ‘Tell your parents, I can't help you.’ But this is a client, who has money to come into the clinic."

Mark Crutcher also believes the clinics are cashing in on their crimes. If the market for minors goes away, so does a lot of money.

"Without these children walking through the doors of these abortion clinics, a huge percentage of profit would walk out the front door," he said.

An abortion can cost up to $400. Two years ago, more than four thousand underage girls got abortions in Texas. If you add it all up, Crutcher says you have one lucrative reason to keep on serving these girls, despite the law.

Glad you did the follow up ping, toenail.

Two years ago, more than four thousand underage girls got abortions in Texas. If you add it all up, Crutcher says you have one lucrative reason to keep on serving these girls, despite the law. A carefully hidden fact in these abortion mills is the fetal tissue harvesting industry. The tissue sellers to research institutes have placed 'harvesters' in many abortion clinics. These harvesters do pre-abortion evaluations of the females scheduled for 'procedures' and pick the healthiest females and healthiest prenatals, then wait for the abortion to happen. In many of these harvesting 'clinics', a method for killing the infants was devised that allowed for the freshest tissues and most complete bodies ... bring the little ones into the world very prematurely (~16 weeks from last ovulation of the woman) and set their struggling bodies aside to suffocate slowly. In some cases (as revealed in Congressional testimony) the little ones didn't 'expire' quickly enough so they were drown and the harvesting was immediately begun.

Why do I bring up this heinous industry? Because there is absolutely nothing in the law that requires these serial killers or their cronies, the harvesters, to prove the little one is dead before harvesting. Why is that important? Two things: 1) a sixteen week gestational age child is very sensitive to pain, 2) the emphasis of the tissue harvesters is for the most fresh tissue possible and in the case of brain tissue the most intact brain, ala just killed, and I would bet my house that on at least one occasion over the last four years, a little one arrived on ice at a research lab with still beating heart, to be dissected immediately. Too outlandish you say?... Not really when you realize that greed motivates the heartless and that the entire Roe v Wade Supreme Court case was based on an elaborate lie (Norma wasn't raped and she never even had an abortion, by her own confession decades later) and the expert testimony was false (the expert physicians now admit freely that they fabricated their statistical support of their contentions regarding number of 'back alley' and illegal abortions and deaths and maiming of females using back alley abortions).

I'm not on top of all the legal issues and legislative efforts in the abortion arena. However, it would seem to me that State law could be used to treat the remains of an abortion in the same manner as any other person who died.

This would require disposal by approved means or a signed organ donor statement. Further, the law could then provide for a means of auditing to insure compliance. The goal would be to place an additional burden on the clinic and hopefully, raise their expenses and cut into any profits.

Just a thought.

For four years I've sought a lawyer who would take a case to sue the clinics over lack of proofs before harvesting. Apparently no one wants to try it, so the little ones are still merely surplus tissue for exploitation!

It costs a lot of money for abortion clinics to do that, which is why they fight requiring pathology reports. One reason for requiring them is that an incomplete abortion, where parts of the baby are left behind, poses an infection risk for the ex-mother.

Also, pathology reports substantiate what these ghouls don't want known, that the vast majority of abortions are done on healthy women and healthy little ones, sometimes right up into the fortieth week from last ovulation!

And think of all the guilt of the women who have had abortions, but weren't even pregnant. Money rules in the abortion trade. Always has.

These abortion mills are enabling the predators who abuse children and ensnare teenage girls in abusive sexual relationships. For the money. And it's all covered up under the lie "a woman's right to choose." These aren't women, they're girls. Is our society willing to pay an unlimited price in human suffering to have promiscuous sex? As Bob Dole said, "where's the outrage"???

I heard a series of Carol Everett's lectures on her days in the abortion industry and her "conversion". the things she said were absolutely chilling and had me in tears. Excellent speaker.
