Algore and Tipper hold Book Signing and Nobody Came
KVI Radio, Seattle. John Carlson Show | Nov. 22, 2002 | Self

Posted on 11/22/2002 3:21:10 PM PST by holyscroller

John just said a station employee's wife just called in from the Issaquah Costco asking if her husband wanted an autographed Algore book. She said The tree and Tipper are sitting there and there are only a couple people there to buy books. Bwahahahahah. I thought this was a "best seller." They have another signing tonight at Elliott Bay Books in Seattle. That should draw a little better among Seattle's Lefties.

As of 9 PM on 11/22, their books are number 618 and 1032.

And this, after all of the hype and appearances on virtually all of the "mainstream" media.

By the way, Ann Coulter's "Slander" is #81 and Michelle Malkin's "Invasion" is #242.

I was just thinking, I hope they come to Atlanta to my Costco; we'll show them a FReepin' like they haven't seen since they overstayed their welcome at Cheney's house!

Dear Pontiac, re: FReeping. Don't worry, we've FReeped when FReeping is needed. Our chapter just decided he wasn't worth it in this setting. Why add to his "crowd?" LOL

I think an autograph session with no autograph seekers is worse than anything we could do to them. It's like Spinal Tap.

They do not have the guts to show up in the Inland Empire, the Central Valley or San Diego for some reason. Could it be the VWRC? :-) Besides, the seniors would get really really pissed at Owl and Tipsy when they ate all the free samples.

No, no, no! You know I'm faithful to my hero Algore...it's just that, well, I'm not a Costco member. They sell in bulk, see, and I haven't anywhere to store a bin of turnips, a gross of toilet paper, a pallet of chewing gum, or in Algore's case, a whole truckload of fertilizer...
