Al Gore's book, "Spirit of the Family" is now listed at 7,651 on Amazon. So... what ranks ahead of this best seller?

I took a few minutes to see where Al Gore's book ranks on Amazon as of today (12/05/02). It is ranked at number 7,651, and falling about 1,000 a day. So I wondered what is more important than learning what Al and Tipper want to teach us about the family...
"The Complete Idiot's Guide to Amazing Sex" comes in at 5,785
"The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Mafia" apparently is much more interesting than Al & Tipper (no suprise) and amazing sex (surprise). It comes in at 3,600
"Knitting for Dummies" is VERY popular (when compared to the Gores) as it is currently ranked 1,441
And I guess it's no surprise that "The Stupid Crook Book" is ranked over 5,000 spots above Mr. & Mrs. Gore's tome, coming in at 1,164.
The search was easy to conduct. I simply looked up "Gore" and then "Idiot" and "Dummy" and "Stupid." I could have picked from another hundred titles, but these seemed to give a nice overview.

LOL. My mom started me kniting when I was 10. I am no longer 10 but my hair will NEVER be blue, unless that can happen naturally, of course.

My grandma had purple hair, I always aspired to white hair with a purple tinge when I was younger, I thought it was sooo pretty. Now, I will never have blue (or purple) hair.

I once did some cross-stitch. It was a Navy Jack (Don't Tread on Me). I'm not blue-hair, either; I use Just for Men!

Good job. No more Al Gore the bore.
Sex for idiots, on the other hand..............Did I say hand?

"Men I've loved" by Hillary Rotten Clinton

"Fax machine etiquette" by Barbara Streisand

Only on Free Republic could you start a humorous thread on Al Bore's silly book and wind up with a serious discussion on the virtue's of knitting!! LOL!

I thought one or the other was supposed to be out by now. Are the publishers still in business? $18 million is an awful lot to pay for nothing -- do you think their stockholders will notice?
Inquiring former democrats want to know.

I'd be more interested in reading a book about the life and times of Elmer Fudd
than I would ever be interested in reading Albert Gore's latest dud.
