"#6 AL Gore offered the best way to prevent the September 11 attacks. Republicans rejected his Aviation Safety and Security Report, which could have saved 3000 American lives. Republicans are, therefore, guilty by omission for the 9/11 tragedy. Gore in an unsung American hero."

Isn't this the report that was going to cost the airlines a fortune until they bought off the clintongore regime with campaign donations so it would not be implemented?

What's the name of that annual contest for bad writing?

The Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest, and that thing is definitely a contender.

Holy hell, these things are usually pretty bad, but this is awful. Some of my favorites, besides the newly-discovered JKF administration:

Beware the landslide backlash: Democrats face the historical imperative of restoring legitimate government with a landslide backlash.

Politician, relegate thyself: If Democrats disregard Al Gore's 2000 victory and his right to the 2004 incumbency, they will be relegating themselves from high moral ground.

Plunder me harder, baby: This fact alone forebodes the return of an invincible Gore crossing the Alps in winter, like Hannibal pushing elephants over the cold, infertile snows of a second Bush recession, fighting against the plunder of our surplus...

Al Gore, unlike Hannibal, will not stop to rest. Well, he's not African. And he doesn't have elephants. But other than that, he's a lot like Hannibal. Really.

He will lead his majority into battle and reclaim our civil rights, justice for all, including non citizens, freedom of information, a law-abiding, civilized foreign policy, international peace, sustainable economy, and environmental protection. And he does the water into wine thingy, too. Al is also available for birthdays, weddings, and Bar Mitzvahs....

Gore in an unsung American hero.

Not gonna touch that one. Nope.

If this is getting out of hand, perhaps there should be a week "buffer" period between signup and posting new threads.

Kinda like a seven day waiting period before you can get a gun? On FR? This is America!

Bush Enronite Republicans are planning another war transparently timed by Rove to steal the next election with more flag waving and break into the lock-box to plunder the people again as they sing "God Bless America."

"How many plunderers?"
"Many plunderers, many!"
"Jefe, would you say we have a...plethora of plunderers?"
", El Guapo. You have a plethora."
"Jefe, what is a 'plethora'?"

My sides hurt.
