This thread reminds me of Pres. Bush's support of Trent Lott. No comment!
Just kidding!

And all I have heard this morning from left wing blacks calling in all morning is unfounded hatred for the whites. It is THEY who keep racism alive by poking fingers in the eyes of whites. Then when whites get angry at the assault, the blacks step back and say "see..... he's a racist!"

It never ceases to amaze me. What Trent Lott said was not racist. Stupid, but not racist. He may have been thinking in racist terms but we really don't know. But the African-American (based on self identification) callers use terms like, "that's the way all white people think," etc., are so obviously racist it's mind-numbing. Do they not see the irony?

I wish more conservatives saw it your way. If they did, this story would have died a quick death. What's keeping it alive now is the dissension within conservative ranks. Democrats love us fighting with each other, just as we love them in division.

If I were black I would so resent someone saying things like, "black leader" or "we african-americans think . . " Until that kind of mindset changes this country will continue to march backwards.
BTW, I've seen these Tax People (now on C-SPAN) in years past. It is a good hour.
