Oh no, Miss Marple! My son gave me that book for Christmas thinking that I would like it. Well, I may just skim through it.

I was also given the book "George and Laura, Portrait of an American Marriage. I hope this is a good one.

"I am certain we have only to wait a few days until we are given Clinton's "expertise" in how to solve the North Korean problem. He will, of course, blame it all on President Bush."

Funny you should mention that. On my new satellite dish, I have this funky channel called "UCTV", and this morning as I was "browsing" I noticed that they were airing a 'Clinton speech'. I turned it on for a second, and it was taped in November of 2002, and Clinton was spewing some of the things he thought he remembered doing to the Korean regime. I couldn't take it for long so I flipped on, however isn't it interesting how the University of California is aiding and abetting the X42 propaganda via the satallite media?

Psalm 121

God the Help of Those Who Seek Him

1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills--
        From whence comes my help?
        2My help comes from the LORD,
        Who made heaven and earth.

        3He will not allow your foot to be moved;
        He who keeps you will not slumber.
        4Behold, He who keeps Israel
        Shall neither slumber nor sleep.

        5The LORD is your keeper;
        The LORD is your shade at your right hand.
        6The sun shall not strike you by day,
        Nor the moon by night.

        7The LORD shall preserve you from all evil;
        He shall preserve your soul.
        8The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in
        From this time forth, and even forevermore.

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and hope your Birthday has been just as good. My son had the good luck (?) of being born on this day 14yrs ago. I remember it toooo well and the family still talks about it every Christmas day how that Christmas my ankles were like tree trunks and I was talking about calling in to work the next day because I was pretty miserable and felt that I had to clean the carpets before the baby came. hehehehe

So again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU AND TO MY SON MATT

Do I ever miss all of you and hope everybody had a nice Christmas! There is a light at the end of the tunnel and I am going to reclaim my FReep time very soon. Thanks, Rintense for today's pictures.

I wanted all of you to know W is well protected while he's in Texas. This afternoon I was walking to my car in the mall parking lot when out of nowhere two F-16's appeared low and loud chasing a small private plane. Bet the poor pilot wet his pants when he saw those things coming at him, lol! He must have entered the restricted air space. Anyway they were escorting him to a nearby private airport where I'm sure he was read the riot act.

I try to give my brother-in-law my favorite political book every year for Christmas. When I went to Borders to pick up "Fighting Back" by Bill Sammon, I noticed that the only book on Bush with prominent placement was the Woodward book. There it was hitting me in the face as I walked in the door. Figures.

He's not looking too well. Maybe it's the smallpox vaccination he received.

Before saying goodnight, I thought I'd provide you with more info concerning Gallup's "Most Admired Poll."

HIGHTLIGHTS: GWB was voted #1 by an unusually large margin; he was also voted #1 by both Republicans AND Democrats!

LOWLIGHTS: Hillary bested Laura by 1 percentage point (7% to 6%) -- Hillary was #1 among men (OK BUSHBUCKS, DO YOU HAVE AN EXPLANATION?); Oprah was #1 among women.

Bush, Clinton and J. Lo?
Americans name most-admired
Thursday, December 26, 2002 Posted: 9:09 PM EST (0209 GMT)

President George W. Bush is the most admired man by Americans.

ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- President Bush and Hillary Rodham Clinton may have little in common politically, but they're both considered the most-admired people by Americans.

As usual, in a poll conducted by CNN, USA Today and Gallup, Americans chose the sitting president as the man they admire most. But President George W. Bush has an unusually large lead over other admired men.

Bush was the first answer for 28 percent of respondents. Second on the list is former President Jimmy Carter, who won the Nobel Peace Prize earlier this year. He was named by 9 percent of respondents.

Rounding out the list of men are Secretary of State Colin Powell, 4 percent; Pope John Paul II, 3 percent; and former President Bill Clinton, 3 percent.

The survey also asked Americans which woman they most admire. Former first lady and current New York Sen. Clinton was named by 7 percent of those responding.

Mrs. Clinton bested current first lady Laura Bush by one percentage point. Also on the list are talk-show host and businesswoman Oprah Winfrey, 6 percent; former first lady Barbara Bush, 3 percent; and former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, 3 percent.

New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is the most admired woman by Americans.

Gallup has asked the same open-ended question for more than 50 years to gauge who is most-admired. This year, 1,009 adult Americans were asked and filled in the blank with anyone they wished.

There are some interesting choices when the names are broken down demographically.

President Bush tops the list among Republicans, as expected, but also tops the list among Democrats.

Among men, Mrs. Clinton is the most admired woman. But among women respondents, most chose Winfrey.

In fifth place among women is actress and pop singer Jennifer Lopez. Among Americans 18 to 30 years old, Lopez tops the list.
