FBI Looking for Five Illegal Immigrants

WASHINGTON –– The FBI said Sunday it is looking for five men of Arab ancestry who may have entered the country illegally last week.

The agency said the five men are believed to have arrived in the United States on or before Christmas Eve.

The five men are: Abid Noraiz Ali, Iftikhar Khozmai Ali, Mustafa Khan Owasi, Adil Pervez and Akbar Jamal, all born between 1969 and 1983. The FBI warned that the names and birth dates may be false.

The FBI said it had no indication the men were linked to terrorist activities, but still wanted to question the five "based upon information developed in the course of ongoing investigations."

The FBI said it was working with the Customs, Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Transportation Security Agency to find the men.

IF they slipped thru in unmonitored locations, then why are they reporting the men were acting suspiciously? (Unless the fact they slipped over illegal was suspicious in itself), which leads me to the next question. How did they know they crossed the border if no one saw them?

I don't know nuthin' about these terrorists; but boy am I feeling safe and secure knowing that the alphabet agencies will have all their hundreds (or more?) of cameras trained on the pro-life citizens attending the March For Life in a few weeks here in DC.

Pervez is also a fairly common Iranian name.

The FBI report says that these names may be false names.

From our end, it is about impossible to identify and keep track of these names.

NSA uses advanced computers and some special software from the West Coast just to keep track of the legitimate names these guys can have.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Al Qaeda operative Abd Al-Rahim al-Nashiri, captured last month, is talking, sources say.

His interrogation has already led the FBI to warn about possible attacks on U.S. warships, ports, naval bases and cruise ship docks. Now the question is: How much does he have to offer?

Eric Margolis, author of "War at the Top of the World," says quite a bit.

"He, at a higher echelon, would know many of the subordinate cell members throughout the Mideast and southwest Asia," Margolis said.

Based on my own experiences, the customs inspection is more rigorous at the border (airport anyway) than before. But then, I'm a white guy.

And maybe we shouldn't. Canadians are VERY ethnically diverse. If it was found that 5 middle-eastern guys crossed your border - duh - I am 44 and fair and white and the American border guys had no Problem stopping me. Speaking from experience.

Well - if we let them in we should be hit with a hammer but if they let them in - it's our fault right? I got everything but a full body cavity search - white, female, 40'ish with nothing but a load of dirty laundry.

Just had a bunch of guys return from US who are ethnically diverse (look hispanic, middle-eastern). No problems getting into the States on their way to same location that I went to. And they went together - 5 on the same plane. Gotta laugh if it wasn't so terrifying.
