You are corrrect except that the folks you mention are not jews and a minority. The post was intended to point out that there are within the American population a host of jews who grate on the majority and are percieved as problems

At some point life turns sour and scape goats are required. A minority becomes the target and is eliminated. The jews are always good for starters. Get rid of them and expropriate their power and property and the problems will go away.

Jews know this and are hoping to build an enclave in America where they will have custom and power to prevent recurrance of the age old patterns. The problem is, by creating the customs and power structure, they are creating the very conditions that will be used against them.

Thus history will repeat in America.

"Where exactly does the problem lie?"

It's because Jews are easy pickings. The problem is that Jews have, as a group, a 'victim' mentality. For whatever reason, they refuse to fight or do whatever is necessary to stop the various bullies of the world from picking on them.

They think they can just turn the other cheek. But, a man has only two cheeks.

Re your # 75...

Yes...My son-inlaw is a non-practicing Jew and he does make alot of money....But he is a great guy as well and I don't know anyone who doesn't like him...his family is refined and have integrated into America beautifully. He has been wonderful to my daughter and I won't address this subject with him in any way-shape-or form to possibly upset the relationship. I leave it that way as we are friends.

This honest question seems still unanswered.

Have a nice day.

Re your # 83

Perhaps but the military organizations assembled by Israel since 1947 are, in my view, among the best, if not the best, in the world....These certainly have not turned the "other cheek" to actual or perceived assault.

As ex military myself, I would like to see our civilian air transportation industry emulate them in things such as their use of profiling for the traveling public as it has proven a tremndopus success...head and shoulders above the Norm Mineta mess we have here in the U.S.

...Sundown approaching....

Interesting comment. To the devout, engaging in on line electronic communication is a violation of the Sabbath rules against activities.

Not casting aspersions, but would like to relate a humorous observation along the same vein. In Saudi Arabia they observe prayer time and during prayer time, activity ceases and people pray. The Phillipinos who run the Dominos Pizza come out of the shop and sit on the curb. Cars stop on the intercity hiways, People pray.

Robots, however continue during prayer time. If you are a time pressed young Saudi and perhaps not completely devout, you can engage in one business activity during Prayer time, you can visit the ATM's at the banks..... they never close.

Was just talking to a nice Christian middle-older aged man from Australia who was part of the bash-America crowd - sticking up for Iraq and all that. It was like talking with a 13 yr old. Unbelieveable that Christians even are liberal nowadays.

But he is a great guy as well

Individually .... reminds me of that one quote. Persons (indviduals) can be smart, level-headed and understand things. People (groups) are stupid, easily panicked and manipulated by mass media.

many young Jews in the US are being converted(the Messianic Jewish movement)

Is that because the messianics like to target younger Jews? Specifically college kids, who are for the first time away from home? I haven't noticed many Messianics trying to convert rabbinical students. Too afraid to go up against people who are strongly grounded in their faith, eh? It's easier to target someone already vulnerable.

He was pretty hard on the jews and moors of Spain and burned those who wouldn't convert.

That is a lie.

Re your # 66....Jews are insular. We traditionally live in tight nit communities and have strict religious restrictions meant to curb interaction with non-Jews. This creates distrust and fear.

Yes....I think this is straight perspective and fits. Mormons seem to have a similar but much less problematic situation.

Thanks

many converted had been Rabbinical students...have you ever studied the move-ment? Jewish parents have many concerns with their children converting to Christ...despite their "grounding" in the Jewish faith...I read of one family trying to "de-program" their child...

I haven't claimed it's a movement that's sucking the majority of Jewish children into the "black-hole of Christ", if that is how you view it...but the number of conversions are being noticed.

Check out the early days of Joe Smith's Church.
They had to deal with pogroms and even a threatened war by the US.
It isn't surprising that Mormons modeled themselvs on the ancient Israelites.

RE: your 86

You bring up a good point. It still amazes me however, that the Israelies continue to act mostly in a reactive/defensive posture. Why they let Arafat live is beyond me. They should also be actively going after Saddam.

What I would like to see is a proactive stance against declared enemies of Isreal. I was encouraged to see that the Mossad has recently been given the green light to go after enemies on foreign soil. That is a major step in the right direction.

but the number of conversions are being noticed.

Which is why there are now groups such as Jews for Judaism. Counter missionary groups are springing up. It's bad enough that synagogues in L.A. last year were littered with junk from Christian or Messianic groups trying to be "helpful".
