I think personal responsibility has hit an all time low. How could you sue after being fired for being arrested for cocaine possession? How he even fathoms that a drug addiction should be protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act? Maybe Hillary Clinton would think so? The worst part about it is that I can see him winning. Today's torts have gotten out of hand.

It's Hollywood. Why should logic enter into this?

The suit is entirely believable based on the false assumptions already in place:
1. Additcions are actually diseases.
2. People can't help becoming diseased so we shouldn't judge them.
3. The ADA basically gives the diseased carte blanche to force employers to accomodate them.
4. And isn't cocaine a natural hazard he would be exposed to in his job as Hollywood actor? You have to snort in order to stay with the "in" crowd?

Thanks, Bush 41, for making this tomfoolery FEDERAL LAW and shame on the judges who have broadened the envelope to make this sort of application to the law even considerable.
