Unbelievable. If this won't shake your faith in Ebay auctions, I don't know what will. Either there are a lot of stupid rich people in this world, or Ebay's auctions involve a whole lot more fraud and shill bidding than their overinflated $73 a share stock price will admit.

You're right. But I wonder how Ebay feels about it's auction site being used for jokes? After all, to run a joke auction - you have to have multiple people with joke accounts who don't care if those joke accouns get suspended when discovered. Which means that Ebay auctions get shilled on a regular basis.

If you have an ebay membership, and report the auction to Ebay, they can decide if the listing of the carrot is a violation of its rules.

The lister of the item also has the option of disqualifying any bids, or closing the auction himself.

The real joke is going to be when ebay bills their percentage from the sales price. Watch them not cancel it. LOL

What's really funny is to go to the names of the bidders. Half the idiots are bidding against themselves repeatedly.
