Thank you. Lots of people e-mail me about how they liked "Back to Basics for the Republican Party" -- and sometimes readers invite me to speak to their groups. Sometimes I do get into FR historical discussions, but there is usually little for me to say other than READ MY BOOK.

Cheers,

Grand_Old_Partisan

Doug, Ted is an articulate man who ought to write a book presenting his clearly stated perspective. The man needs to be heard in the black community as well as the rest of America. He's also a brother in Christ. [That reminds me, Doug, why hasn't Jim brought out a FreeRepublic publishing house? Wow, what potential there is here for well stated and lucid perspectives to share with America!]

I want to and hear more from Ted Hayes. Fox News should add his name to their Rolodex, if Ted's willing. Anyone who likes Booker T. Washington is A-OK in my book.

FR publishing is a helluva idea. Ted really can run with the ball.

Thanks, Bob. It was an honor to be on your show.

Democrats would deeply resent whatever you and other Freepers can do to spread the word about "Back to Basics for the Republican Party" and its website, http://www.republicanbasics.com, a link to which Freepers could e-mail to everyone they ever met.

Have you investigated a Booknotes interview? How does an author go about being chosen? I'd think it'd be a highly sought after interview.

The problem is that the book is so good for the GOP that the media resists publicizing it, making promotion by Freepers, etc. crucial to spreading the word.

Fantastic interview, Doug.

And kudos to France for winning the "award"

Brian Lamb isn't hostile to a book with a point of view as long as it's informational. You know he can dredge up something from the other side to air on another date. His Ann Coulter interview for Slander was one of his best.

A homeless black activist in dred locks leading the charge to support our troops. That doesn't quite fit the mold.

I've tried many times. Perhaps you could contact Republican groups looking for a speaker. I usually get a standing ovation.

I don't know which state you're in because you're not signed up on your homestate page. The Republican groups I'm associated with are all in Virginia, and uh...you know what folks think of youknowwho in Virginia!?! But I'll keep it in mind... I know I need to buy it and read it because back in the day, youknowwho wasn't really included in the curriculum very much.
