[history]
Washington -- The Bay Area is a key port of entry for foreign women and children kidnapped or lured here under false pretenses to work in prostitution or pornography, State Department officials and advocates said Tuesday as the Bush administration vowed to combat what it called a fast-growing "modern-day form of slavery."

Notice the contrast between the prosecution by the U.S. Government of the traffickers of sex slaves versus the moral-liberal newspaper's review of a play which trivializes the trafficking in human misery.

Its Pelosi's district, why does she look the other way and allow this to happen.

"Ashcroft said the Justice Department had achieved 36 sex trafficking convictions in the last two years, three times the number prosecuted in the prior two years..." Imagine that...

Knock off the unprovoked, gratuitous slamming of Libertarians.

Knock off the unprovoked, gratuitous slamming of Libertarians.I see no such comments from 'Cultural Jihad' in this thread, unless you are referring to the deleted post #5. Wouldn't such admonishments from the Admin Moderator be best made via FReepmail to the offender directly instead of in a post to the thread?

Pelosi has that permanent grin and facial tic, probably means she's in on it, or was smuggled a little herself.
Heck, one should look into whether she had anything to do with Jocylen Elders. (Ms. Elders wanted to 'redefine' child sex laws.. so that it was then legal to molest. She also wanted to 'redefine' a bunch of other laws.. Nice ot know that Democrats are such nice people.)
Pelosi's in on it. (I wouldn't put it past her, just look at the left's track record...)

The UN has its hands in this in Eastern Europe. I wish that we heard as much about the UN sex scandals as we hear about church sex scandals.

"Sharon Rummery...can't say whether the Bay Area is a particular mecca for traffickers..."Or rather she WON'T! Here in California, we have 2 really Partisan ( and rather worthless) Senators named BlahBlah Boxer and DIFI. I wonder how many years they've been ignoring this problem? It hasn't just happened in the last 2 years either. I'm glad Congress finally allowed some funding against horrific actions such as these. How many more weeks will it be,(months probably) before either of them chooses to make a public comment about the people from which they've received most of their California votes, hmmm? You're right, that won't ever happen, because there's nothing wrong with the State of California is there Senator?<-----dripping sarcasm
