Media finally starting to take notice of us...congrats Pittsburgh and Santa Rosa!!
Posted on 03/08/2003 8:22:16 PM PST by God luvs America
It seems the media is starting to realize there are two sides to every story...tonight on CNN after a short blurb about the pinko's spewing their hate towards America in DC today they had an extended clip of the Pro-War rally in Pittsburgh. To everyone who attended thank you as you looked great and in large volume!! They showed the crowd saying the pledge of allegiance and a big sign saying "It's okay to love your country."
Later, on a local broadcast here in Westchester county that ungrateful Mexican immigrant who works for CNN, Maria Hinjoshinjo (or whatever the hell her name is) did a report on the DC American haters but also showed an extended clip of the rally in Santa Rosa.
Hopefully this improved visibility will spur more pro-American rallies and next time in New York it won't be 100K of them against 50 of US.
Way to go people! Way to go!!

I was at the Pittsburgh rally today - it was great! Estimates at 2000 - 2500. On March 16th there's a rally in Valley Forge, Pa. I can't make that one, but I'll be there in spirit!

Yeah, BUT, they will still give us about 15 seconds of time , compared to about 5 minutes for the Saddam lovers!

Don't let that discourage us. We will have our day as long as we are passionate and make a lot of noise.

I stumbled across an anti-war rally in Manhattan's Union Square on saturday. Maybe there were two hundred people representing ten different leftwing ideological groups. Its sad day for democrats when they can only muster two hundred people on a lovely day in Manhattan. The biggest sign I saw was: Free Mumia. This was my first leftwing rally, and it was a hoot. There wasn't a real idea in the group. It was just a collection of college kids, over the hill baby boomers and alternate lifestyle people [lesbians for peace] spouting aphorisms and slogans. I couldn't believe I was approached a few times by functioning adults proselytizing communism. I asked them how they could be supporting and ideology that killed hundreds of millions of people. Not one had an answer. I enjoyed screaming murderer at them as they walked away. I must say though, other than the main speaker who was shouting unintelligible sound bites into a speaker system, everyone was well behaved and soft spoken. These lefties didnt have their hearts into it. At least not the half hour I was there. I was even approached by a mature woman carrying a lesbian for peace sign, and it turned out she said she wasnt even a lesbian. This rally made my day.

Westchester county is 30 minutes north of mid-town Manhattan; 50% of the people who work in Manhattan live in Westchester.

They just showed a clip of what I beleive was the Omaha rally and there was a huge sign there "Hollywood does not speak for me!"
Also, they showed results of a poll; 11% of the people agree with the anti-American...er I mean war demonstrators and feel they speak for the country.
too bad we can't get a rally going with the other 89%!

And they will play this loop of news ALL night.
