A few of the US groups pushing pro-UN propaganda over the decades:

Greatly augmenting the size of UNA's constituency are the
more than 100 affiliated national organizations (among them education,
religious, labor, environmental and women's groups) that have enlisted
in UNA's Council of Organizations. These organizations share the common
goals of making the American public more knowledgeable about global
issues, for informing and educating the public about the United Nations,
and for strengthening the U.N. system.

The Council has two working arms, one based in Washington,
D.C., and one in New York. Their respective Executive Committees
constitute the Council's leadership. Both groups sponsor briefings and
other programs throughout the year for NGOs to share educational
information and advocacy plans regarding issues on the U.N. agenda.

Imagine if the these US groups had been promoting the USA instead of the UN....but that would be called propaganda. Instead, these groups push (on behalf of the UN, but 'coincidentally' mirroring their own agendas) CEDAW, ENDA, Kyoto, ICC, "hate crimes" legislation, population control and other social engineering programs without an election, without any accountability...and with US taxpayer $$$.

Yes, but there are still enough fools in the world who actually believe that the UN's presence is for the "betterment of mankind" and not for the UN's own power-hungry, corrupt, greedy, anti-Israeli, anti-American and American-envying agenda! The USA needs to quit the UN and send it packing to "Old Europe." Let the UN become as biased and irrelevant as that hypocritical "World Court" in Belgium is!!!

and then there are the many articles about the UN being involved with abortion and population control..These Ladies are sadly misinformed. I wish the Bishops would pull the plug on the support.
