As it is with this Unwashed Blowhard Mr. Moore, the devil is in the details. Tell enough lies and repeat them often and you look like a real scholar.

You would think that him being "in" film and hailing from Flint he would know the following:

"...a pair of French brothers who invented the movies"

In 1884, George Eastman invented flexible photographic film and in 1887, Edison patented the motion picture camera. Mr. Moore must be thinking of the Lumiere Brothers but that happened in 1895 - four years after Edison's "Kineograph" was being publicly demonstrated. This is first-year Film student stuff.

"...a Frenchman who built the Chevrolet"

W.C. Durant - from Flint founded Chevrolet and named the company for a racer the company sponsored - Louis Chevrolet.

NEVER take Mr. Moore at his word. Little things like facts get in his way, so he just LIES. In Revolutionary War times, the British were the enemy along with the mercenary Hessians, the French our allies. Times HAVE changed.

I asked what my future son-in-law thinks of the "peace" protests, like the big one in DC. He said "They are STUPID!" I would put Michael Moore into the same class... STUPID!

Why on earth would we want to stop or even hinder SoDamn Insane Hussein?

Well, for one thing, he is doing evil things to his own people, just as Hitler did. And does anyone think we should have not stopped Hitler?

See men shredded, then say you don't back war
By Ann Clwyd

“There was a machine designed for shredding plastic. Men were dropped into it and we were again made to watch. Sometimes they went in head first and died quickly. Sometimes they went in feet first and died screaming. It was horrible. I saw 30 people die like this. Their remains would be placed in plastic bags and we were told they would be used as fish food . . . on one occasion, I saw Qusay [President Saddam Hussein’s youngest son] personally supervise these murders.”

This is one of the many witness statements that were taken by researchers from Indict — the organisation I chair — to provide evidence for legal cases against specific Iraqi individuals for war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. This account was taken in the past two weeks.

Another witness told us about practices of the security services towards women: “Women were suspended by their hair as their families watched; men were forced to watch as their wives were raped . . . women were suspended by their legs while they were menstruating until their periods were over, a procedure designed to cause humiliation.”

Now I believe this qualifies as an extreme enough case to use the duct tape some of us bought in case of a bio or chemical attack.

3. As Bill Maher said last week, how bad do you have to suck to lose a popularity contest with Saddam Hussein?

Oh, it's easy. All you have to do is the following:

1) Be a Republican

2) Tell the truth as you see it in plain language

3) Act on your convictions.

4) Set about to relentlessly focus on and effectively SOLVE a carefully deliniated and important problem that has previously been addressed with irresolute, inconsistent, inffective, vapidly symbolic or even (re the French) hypocritically and intentionally counterproductive measures.

Mikey Moron wouldn't know "truth" if it was a rattlesnake biting him on his fat bum.

He is up for an Oscar this year. Some thought that it should have gotten more attention by being nominated for "Best Movie". I think that it is more deserving of the CATEGORY of "Best Movie" since Bowling For Columbine is a work of FICTION (actually propaganda and faked footage), it is not a documentary. There are some sites that point out his fraud.

He also could have met with Roger in "Roger and Me" but it was more cinematic to stand outside a building with a megaphone and shout into it.

Then he says "Virtually no one" and then has to eliminate "talk radio nutters" and "Fox News" from that opposition group. He should also have eliminated all of the viewers/listeners to those programs. He should also realize that by location or personal taste, not everyone who opposes the appeasement movement watches Fox News or listens to talk radio so add some more to the figure.

Just because someone cannot find a person who voted for George W. Bush does not mean that "no one" voted for George W. Bush (or any other Republican President). It means that they live in an isolated world and are intolerant of opposing viewpoints.

Mikey's so full of Barbra Streisand that I didn't bother with the rest of his tirade. I'll scan the rest of this thread for FReeper comments but may set this aside (I don't want to lose my appetite).

Well I guess I have a few comments about that garbage letter:

1. Maybe Michael just doesn't get around to looking at the polls. But the majority of Americans are behind the President, and Michael knows that number will only climb after war breaks out. Also no one is passionate about killing anyone. I suggest President Bush look for those that are passionate about protecting ourselves from mad dictators. Americans who support the war are not blood thirsty, we simply live in reality and know a killer cannot be contained.

2. You know I don't remember Michael complaining when Clinton was dropping bombs on Belgrade to distract from Monica. Of course maybe I just wasn't paying any attention to him. I could be wrong. But make no mistake that Bush is not seeking a distraction, he is seeking US national security. I mean someone has to protect Michael's right to be a moron.

3. Bill Maher, LOL! How bad do you have to suck that the best you could come up with in your letter was something Bill Maher said.

4. OK with all due respect the pope isn't exactly himself these days, and honestly what else did you expect to hear him say. The Ditsy Chicks are idiots who are now apologizing for their remarks to try and avoid getting booed off the stage when they go on their tour in the states, and can someone help me with this question. I tried to do a search to see if Michael Moore ever served in combat. I can't even find out if he served period. I would find it interesting that he bashes on politicians for their lack of service if he himself never put on a uniform.

5. UMMM, maybe Michael doesn't know that our armed forces are an all volunteer service. Does anyone remeber Moore hollering that Chelsea enlist during Clintoons terms in office? I don't either!

6. OK I'm convinced! Michael Moore does not read polls. He apparently does not realize that a majority of Americans are peeved at the French right now. First off what does Chevy, or the movies have to do with America being here. Second, I love the Statue of Liberty as much as the next American, but let's be honest, it is one symbol of hundreds in our country. If the French never gave it to us do you think Americans would be yearning for one. AHHH yes the Revolutionary War. The good 'ol days when the French knew how to put up a good fight against tyranny. Of course after that they turned into sissies who surrender to tyranny faster then Michael does to an aerobics exercise. Apparently Michael doesn't realize that if their was no America there would be no France either.

All I can say is he hasn't found any of those screws that came loose. But hey Michael think positive, someday, sometime, just maybe, someone will actually take you serious.

Walk out of the White House and on to any street in America and try to find five people who are PASSIONATE about wanting to kill Iraqis

I could only get to point one before finding a falsehood. President Bush does not want to kill Iraqis, in fact he takes all steps to kill as few as possible. By implying that Americans don't agree with the Presidents desire to "kill Iraqi's", Moore argues from a falsehood, with designs to elicit emotionalism amongst the ignorant.

Mr. Moore is a blithering idiot, terminally obsessed with his own fancied cleverness. I think most of us got past that sort of "wit" around seventh grade.

Dear Governor Bush:

I'm done with that one statement. If he hasn't got the respect to address the President appropriately, then he's not worth my time.

His chronic "Fat Kid" Syndrome has metastastised into a full blown paranoid neurosis with George Bush at the center

The only thing less attractive than Moore is his wife. Who, oddly enough, has much smaller breasts than Moore does.

Seriously, Moore is a multi-millionaire who has this schtik that he is some regular guy. Writing this kind of garbage is his job. Pays him well too. Enough that he could at least TRY to do something with those darn breasts of his.
