WRVA had a videographer, and so did Channel 8. I don't know what the plans are, but watch the news we'll probably be on it. We already made the Jerusalem Post. Check out the link on post #22

I saw the quote from the Jerusalem Post. Is there more? The website wants a bunch of personal information to access their site.

Here's an excerpt. This is everything about Richmond from the article:
Near Richmond, Virginia, on Sunday, police said more than 5,000 people showed up to show their support for the war -- something veteran Terry Steer said they could have used during Vietnam.
"I'm here to support the troops because I know what it was like when people didn't," said Steer, 55, who fought during the 1968 Tet Offensive with the 1st Air Calvary Division of the Army. "That can't happen again."
Forrest Winks, a 14-year-old corporal in his high school's Junior Army ROTC program, said he sees the soldiers on television and hears duty calling.
"I really wish I could be out there with them taking part, but it's very scary, too. I know that," Forrest said, in his dark green dress uniform and black beret. "I'm stuck here, at home."
Onstage at the outdoor pavilion, an actor recited Patrick Henry's "Give me liberty or give me death" speech. Supporters sang the national anthem, removed their hats and bowed their heads in prayer.
Excerpted from the Jerusalem Post article "In US, pro-war demonstrators appear after massive anti-war rallies" dated 3/23/2003

I left the Army in '79 from Ft. Lee. Then 3 years later graduated from VCU. I owned property there up until last year. I still have many friends in the area.

Thank you for your kind words of praise! With your permission, I'll use your comments on my web site as a testimonial! I'm so gratified that everone found the presentation moving and appropriate. If I could make a living by just portraying Mr. Henry, I'd be a happy man.

I was reminded of how timeless the message of liberty is and how it spoke to me at this point in time.Thank you for saying that. It is so true.

Yes, of course, by all means. The sound system was perfect, at least from my vantage point. I hope you're able to obtain a copy of the video. I'd want that performance to show the granchildren.

That Jerusalem Post story came from the Associated Press wire, so expect to see it in other papers.
Here is the story from the Richmond Times-Dispatch web page:
Thousands Attend 'Rally For America' Mar 23, 2003
Thousands of Virginians crowded onto a sun-kissed field outside Richmond this afternoon, chanting "USA," waving American flags of all sizes and cheering the U.S. troops in the Persian Gulf.
Police estimated 7,000 squeezed onto the grassy field of the Innsbrook Pavilion for the "Rally for America." The Innsbrook Foundation, which manages the property, confirmed that figure. Organizers noted traffic heading to the pavilion on Lake Brook Drive snaked all the way back to Nuckols Road.
Glenn Beck, a syndicated radio host whose talk show is carried locally on WRVA 1140 AM, led the rally in western Henrico County after bringing it to several other cities across America, including Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Cleveland.

Really enjoyed your speech. As you reached the crescendo, everybody in my area (stage right-waaay back) gave a fever-pitched whoop. Next time I see you it will be at St. Johns's.

It was fantastic!! And great to know there are so many like-minded Americans. I had an opportunity to personally thank Glen Beck for all that he's doing for America.
What a patriot-----we need more of his caliber.
