I still think he's noi. I also wonder if he had any gang affliations. I have taken several workshops on gangs and I believe there are two tiers of gang affliations. The first tier is the everyday ''soldiers'' They have the tattos, wear the gang colors and wave the signs. They are the ones we see on the streets. The second tier keep their gang affiation secret. That way the gangs can inflitrate non-gang life i.e. the army perhaps. I would make a wager that he is second generation, his mother and stepfather being first.

You are being ridiculous now. McVeigh was a nut, there are a few hundred million Muslims who interpret their holy book to say that they should kill Infidels. This is a very big difference.

Obviously ejecting all white Christians from our armed services would render our military useless. Their are a very small number of Muslims in our military, and they are more trouble than they are worth.

Let me ask you: Do you think people who are Christian Identity should be allowed to serve?

Early Sunday morning Kuwait time, a sergeant assigned to an engineering brigade of the 101st Airborne Division allegedly attacked three tents in which many divisional commanding officers were sleeping on the eve of their unit's jump-off into Iraq. According to press reports of the incident, Sgt. Asan Akbar rolled three or four grenades into the tents then proceeded to shoot some of those who sought to flee the ensuing fire and carnage. The attack killed Captain Christopher Seifert and wounded more than a dozen other members of the storied "Screaming Eagles," several so severely they had to be flown to the U.S. military hospital at Ramstein, Germany.

The words Akbar is reported by the Los Angeles Times to have uttered when he was seized after the fragging suggest the ominous nature of his "attitude": "You guys are coming into our countries and you're going to rape our women and kill our children."

I hope political correctness hasn't weakened our military justice system.

25% of all Muslims do this? Citation, please...

I see. Applying your "one bad apple equals automatic expulsion" criteria in this case would be INCONVENIENT.

They ought to "link it".

Since he became a member of a murderous "religion", he should have been tagged as a crazy. Had he been, a Captain in the Army would still be alive.

Muslim simply "doesn't work" if you want to also be "American".

With regards to militant Islam, it is much more than one bad apple and you know it.
