Very appropriate sermon for our country to stand behind. Gives good ground why the anti-war protestors are ignorant to the truth.
Charles Stanley makes a powerful statement to all those that oppose this war.

Stanley is one of my heroes. His preaching is Bible-based and no-nonsense. He lays God's Word out for all to see... and make their decisions.

Anybody know how to burn these on a cd?

Bump for all - to hear Charles Stanley.
Spiritual warfare - in the war in Iraq and also in the spiritual war in our homes, our hearts, our cities.
Says this war effort in Iraq is BATHED IN PRAYER! (Yes, it is, thank GOD)
War in Iraq is a War of mercy, not of vengeance. War to bring freedom. War which Almighty God is in control of and of which will determine the outcome of the war. But talking about the War that is going on in every nation, in every home, in every heart. Spiritual warfare that is real. Compare the two wars. What it takes to win in either one of these wars.
1 Timothy and 2 Timothy: 1 Tim 1:18. Fight the good fight - talking about spiritual warfare.

"31 Ways to Pray For Our Military"
This is from Charles Stanley's web site.
When we think of our fellow Americans serving in the military, and the sacrifices and demands that their job places upon them and their families, we are in deep gratitude. Whether they are serving in our homeland, or overseas, their task is a great one.
We have been called upon to pray for them during these desperate days. In an effort to pray more consistently and effectively this list has been compiled. There is one prayer focus and related verse for 31 days.
Let us be faithful in prayer. As long as "the war on terrorism" exists, let us be faithful prayer warriors in behalf of our fellow citizens who have committed themselves to defending our America.

Big fan, huh? Well, I'm not against Protestant preachers per se. My favorite is probably D. James Kennedy. And I thought I would like Charles Stanley. But one night I tried to listen carefully to what he was saying, and it wasn't very coherent. It would be interesting to read a transcript of one of his sermons. Fast talkers get a bad rap for a reason.
To: Dubya; Victoria Delsoul
Excellent, Dubya - thank you!!!
To: Aquinasfan
I am not an expert on his speaking although what I have heard I've found very solid and helpful. However, he does say the word "Listen!" too often to the point of it being annoying (although it's good advice).
