Thanks for the postings of the fallen heroes for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

We need to recover the meaning of Memorial Day and show gratitude for the price these heroes have paid.

The leader of the "Bridge Rescue", I believe his rank is LTC. Cris Carter, is a childhood friend of my hubby. He was floored when he saw him on TV, introduced him as "LTC Cris Carter of Watkinsville GA". My in-laws have talked to his parents, and they were thrilled to not only get to see their son, but to get to see him in such a heroic way!

There is a scripture that God will send a powerful delusion on the world in the last days so that the wicked will not see and repent,...

Strange you should make this reference. I was thinking this very idea myself the other day, as family members headed out for an anti-war protest. They are religious liberal/leftists, in every meaning of the phrase. It is futile to attempt to discuss or reason with them, as they ACTUALLY GET RAVING ANGRY.

Odd for peaceniks, huh ?

They are fearful that their belief system will be shown to be a fraud.

I can only pray for them, and after all that is the very best I can do for them.

A spiritual turn-around is the only thing that will open their eyes.

Nope.
Just a fan of sniper rifles.
I like the PSG and it's bretheren.
But I think I'd go for an AWP for deer hunting.
'Course, every yahoo between me and the deer would stand up and go, "I got it!" (I've seen it happen before..)

It looks like this:

Is what the chap in the picture is firing.

http://www.accuracyinternational.com//a

I have shot one of those in 308 once. Two bullets. Single hole at 100 yards. No joke.

They'be been repainted for their present duties, and many are seen with camouflage *ghillie suit* scrim attached.

But that shouldn't hurt their acceracy much, if at all.

Thank you Dio,great pictures.

I have been playing the pc video game"Battlefield 1942" and in the mission "Operation Market Garden" there is a bridge exactly like this one in the game.Maybe it's a coincidence I played this mission exactly at the time the coalition took this bridge.(Altough in real life it is NOT a game. In real life people die.)
