I teach at a middle school. We have 50 little snots like Natalie. They're a dime a dozen-- smart off and then tell you that they're proud of it.

The Dixie Chicks are expressing concern for their personal safety

Gee, isn't that the same concern expressed by Prof. DeGenerate at Columbia??

Ladies and Gentlemen, I think we have discovered the latest refuge of the scoundrel!

The singer said, "The more flack I get for it, the prouder I am."

Birds of a feather.

I was in the dvd section of Wal-Mart today; in the music dvd section there are a LOT of Ditzy Fellatrix dvds sitting on the rack.

You can tell that little fat one thinks that she is hot stuff.

This "prouder" stuff Maines has now said is as bad as what she said earlier and THIS needs to be put out everywhere just like we at FR and others did when she shot her mouth off the first time. This is egregious.

Now THIS comment needs to go out to country radio stations everywhere.

She is PROUD of what she said.

About one minute ago, as I write this, O'Reilly doing viewer letters at the end of his show read one from someone in Australia who said the Chicks are touring there and have said there to those folks that they STAND BY their comments.

You know, if someone proclaims their political opinion, they should expect no less of a reaction than when anyone of us spouts off about our political beliefs. Celebs should be prepared to defend themselves. They should expect to get verbally shot down. What happens here on this site? If we can't defend our position, then we shouldn't post our opinion. If Natalie and the whole contingent of mouthy famous people can't take negative feedback, they should just shut the heck up.

When these celebs open their mouths they are going to be forced to defend their position. One that is chuck full of holes. If they were running for political office, their opponent would mop their faces in the dirt with their apalling lack of expertise.

So what if they have a recognizable face and a platform on which to speak? Most celebs have no business saying anything because they know nothing. Unless they can say something substantial, they are doing nothing more than abusing their celebrity status.

Interesting. Earlier, she claimed she was just joking. I guess this is to impress her Hollywood buddies, while the apology and "I was just joking" claim was to appease her fans.

Maines, however, has reacted more flippantly to the situation, according to reports. The singer said, "The more flack I get for it, the prouder I am."

This conceited little witch didn't learn any lessons, did she?

Rosanne Cash Appalled By Dixie Chicks Backlash

Rosanne Cash, who is country music royalty, has spoken out about the backlash Dixie Chicks have encountered over Natalie Maines comments about George Dubya in England last week.

"I'm astonished and appalled at the way she has been treated in the press" Rosanne tells Undercover News.

Rosanne is equally shocked by the double standard of the people making the accusations against Natalie. "It is the people who scream loudest about America and freedom who seem to be the most intolerant for people with a differing point of view" she says. "She was just expressing a feeling and an opinion, you know. She wasn't trying to insight a riot. I really cannot believe the backlash. It is as if we have not learnt anything from history. It is like McCarthyism all over again".

Natalie made the heart-felt comment in stage in London "Just so you know, we're ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas". Some American radio stations reacted angrily, dropping all Dixie Chicks music from their playlists and in some cases putting on public burnings of their discs.

Not only does Rosanne detest the reaction to Dixie Chicks, she detests her Government's involvement in the war and she isn't afraid to say so. "I am totally opposed to it. I have been so since day 1" she tells Undercover. "I am sick about the whole thing. I think it is wrong, I think it is wrong that we have gone against the U.N., that we have alienated our allies, that we have invaded a country that hasn't threatened us. It is a pre-emptive strike. It is wrong on so many levels. That doesn't mean I don't support the troops. My heart breaks every time I watch the TV and I see these poor kids out there but I do not support the war. I support the troops but I do not support the war".

America is not totally to blame. Australia is equally guilty. "You guys are there too, I know. It is sad, it is sad" she says.

One of the songs she has been performing live lately is a cover of Bob Dylan's 'Licence To Kill'. "I've been doing that song in concert for the last 12 months (not that I've done a ton of concerts) and people really respond to that song" she says. "It is amazing how timely the lyrics are for what is going on the world". . Right now it means more to here than ever before. "Oh my God, it was so potent Monday night when I sang it I had to choke back tears" she says.

Rosanne is about to release her first new album in nearly a decade. The record is titled 'Rules of Travel'. We'll talk more to Rosanne about the album in coming weeks at Undercover.

"She was also quick to point out that in her hometown of Lubbock, Texas, "only six people showed up," for a public Chicks CD-smashing protest."

That's because they were only able to find 6 CDs in town.

Clueless, gutless, and stupid. This girl needs to move to San Francisco where she could fit right in cause thats how they all are.

Can you say "CAREER OVER".

Can't believe this so-called anti-war buttheads using their fame to push their views, and when ordinary people indicate we've had enough these same anti-war dingalings go into victim mode. What a copout! Anything to get the sympathy. Cowards, the lot of them! Sheesh, makes me sick.
