We've all been frustrated with not being able to contact our troops on the field to tell them how much we support them. Operation Dear Abby, the troops don't have computers to even see those. USO is so backed up with mail and packages that the troops will never see those messages until they get back home.
Fox News does it again. They've streamlined the process. Write to our troops at troops@foxnews.com to let our troops know that you love them and are thinking of them.
Fox has earned my undying loyalty. Go Fox News!!!

You happen to have a link to haw this works? I looked, and I couldn't find one.

I just saw it advertised on Fox News. I just happened to catch the tail end of it, but my impression was that the embeddeds were going to read them to the troops. I can't be sure, but that's what I caught. I looked on the Fox website and didn't see anything in more detail. As I gather more info, I will post it.

Great idea. A friend was telling my husband she just received a letter from her husband, on the move in Iraq, written March 19th. Seems to be a good 2+ week delay in return mail, can't imagine it's that much faster going in the other direction.

Thanx to all who have contributed to this thread. Also, at present, I have a list of all our fallen heroes. I am trying to get the addresses of their next of kin so that we can write them to send our condolence. As for me, I plan to send some money to Lori Pestewa's two kids to help them since they've lost their only parent and breadwinner.
My information I've gotten so far on her is, her parents are Terry & Percy Piestewa, and they live on the reservation on Moenkopi, Arizona. They are a member of the St. Jude Church in Tuba City.
If any of you live close to that area, any information you can supply would be of great help.
They do not want to talk to the outside world right now, understandably, but I do not think they would regret receiving letters of sympathy.
