Rally For Troops

Pasadena Convention Center Rodeo Arena

7902 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, TX 77507

Saturday, April 5, 11 A.M. - 2 P.M.

Rally For Troops and the City of Pasadena are organizing a Support the Troops Rally to send a message of support to our men and women fighting for the freedom of the United States of America. This arena is a covered facility so come rain or shine.

The purpose is to hold a rally that will be recorded on DVDs and CDs to be sent directly to the troops fighting this war. We hear reports of soldiers seeing only anti war protests across the United States and the world.

Our goal is to send approximately 1,000 video DVDs and 10,000 audio CDs to the troops so they can see and hear for themselves that we the people of Texas are with them!

This effort is essential to keep the motivation of our troops up so they can accomplish their mission.

There were approximately 1000 patriotic Texans that attended this rally to support the troops in Pasadena, Texas Saturday. Given the limited and short notice this was a big turn out. Here are the photos that I took of the rally:

They are planning on making a DVD from the video shot at the rally to send to the troops. When I can find the web link to where you can donate to this effort, I'll post it.

If we had known about this rally in advance, some of us that were at the Galleria could have attended. Good job anyway considering the short notice.

Link to the Galleria mini-rally:

Well I did post to the FR Texas locale page what I heard from a caller on KPRC 9.50AM radio last week. If I had a better source, I would have posted it to a thread. In the future we need all FReepers to post info. they hear about a rally for the troops (or a leftist protest, so we can counter-protest) on a FR thread and link it to their state locale page. We can't FReep what we don't know about.

Will do, but it is in Dickenson, about 10 miles north of Galveston Island though. Here is the thread for the Dickenson rally.
