Julie, here are my comments from the Clearwater-rally thread yesterday:
SNN Ch. 6 combined our rally with that of the one held by the Vietnam vets organization down in Punta Gorda, which itself must have had 200 people there, as well as police, a JROTC color guard, speakers, etc.!
Richard's smiling face made it on the set, as did that attactive young lady with the two kids. And a part of my interview was also used -- my spiel was something along the lines of "It's essential that our people overseas know that they have the full support of the people back home that they left behind, and that's us. They're over there suffering every day, putting their lives on the line every day, to keep us safe, and keep us free. There is no more noble cause." They had a few other folks speaking as well, including the young daughter of a man who's currently overseas, and two Vietnam vets, one of which was a POW who did very well.
All in all -- KICKASS! We all did good. Oh, and the SHT also had an article on these two rallies in yesterday's paper on page B1, and a picture of one of our Venice ladies on page B3.
Let Freedom Ring,

If you visit freeper.org, you can list the Cocoa Beach Rally there and you don't have to fill in all the fields; just basic info. Freeper.org is the Free Republic Network. Lots of folks drop by there.

You guys and gals did great! Some great photos! There is a cumulative effect of these rallies and it is great that there are so many of them! Kudo's to Florida!

Glenn Beck from Clear Channel should do a coffee table book with pictures from all the rallys in it. I'd buy that.
Florida freepers were busy working on Florida while the DC Chapter was trying to get Algor out of Cheney's house. I just love campaign season. Bring it on libs!

The pictures and report are great. Seeing these reports and pictures from everywhere is helping to get the word to our troops.
From what I've heard, everyone who has someone serving lets their loved ones know about our rallies.
Thanks for pinging me.

"...Don't show Gonzo that car....he'll want it!..."Too late! I owned 1/3 of a Model A when I was a kid, (That's a Model A, not a Model T) and I have no desire to ever own one again.
Now if you've got a '55 Ford Skyliner, we'll talk. Smootches, babe..............FRegards
