Many local & seasonal patriots stood with us at 41 Bypass & East Venice Ave. yesterday!

This was the largest turnout so far! At the peak time, we had between 7 & 10 Patriots on each corner!

The car horns, cheers, thumbs up & smiles demonstrated just how happy the many passing motorists were to see us.

We were visited by SNN 6 TV & a Sarasota Herald Tribune reporter. Joe Brower gave an excellent interview which was repeated on their newscasts all day today.

This was a successful Rally as Joe noted that we were still getting 'honks' as we furled Old Glory and were heading for our cars.

We will be out on the four corners again next Sunday, April 13 from 1 PM - 2:30PM or longer.

We distributed over 100 yellow ribbons to passing motorists as well as 'Support Our President & Our Troops' stickers to passing motorists who were stopped for the red lights.

Wear a yellow ribbon And tie one on a tree In support of the troops Who insure our liberty!

More Venice residents, Zenobia, Mary & Don react to the honks of passing motorists. Don's tee shirt says: VICTORY BY GEORGE.....Mary holds some of the yellow ribbons we distributed to the cars stopped by the red light!

Two more locals who joined us (forgot their names) and Jack who gave our about 80 bumper stickers which said SUPPORT PRESIDENT BUSH AND OUR TROOPS!!!

The two ladies to the right of the sign told me that they had been to the Glenn Beck Clearwater Rally for America on Saturday and to the Little Havana Support Our Troops Rally in Miami the weekend before. The others saw the announcement of our Rally in the newspaper.
