When the Dungeon Doors Swing Open...

Over the past few months I have noticed and noted a repeated question from FR members:

"What will they
( the appeasers, enablers, obstructionists and refusenicks of the Left )
do when the dungeon doors of Saddam's criminal regime swing open and the victims of his brutality pour out and tell their tales to a horrified world?"

Let's cull some links from our posts here:

Iraqis Hold Ceremony to Bury Victims of Saddam's Anfal Genocide... World Is Silent

Some things never change...
The American media is still turning a blind eye on Saddam Hussein's mass graves and genocide in Iraq.
It doesn't fit their narrative.

Saddam Hussein murdered 182,000 Iraqis during the Anfal campaign in the early 80's.
This was more than Al-Qaeda and insurgents managed to kill over the past 6 years of war.

Iraqi Kurds held a ceremony today to bury the remains of 187 victims of the Anfal Genocide Campaign by former President Saddam Hussein.
The US media ignored this story today.
Iraqi Aswat Aliraq News reported:

Ceremonies on Tuesday were held in Kurdistan’s southern area of Kermyan to mark the burial of the remains of 187 victims of al-Anfal campaign in the presence of thousands of local residents.

The coffins carrying the bodies were wrapped in the Kurdistan region’s flags and prayers were offered for the souls of the victims in the midst of an increased security presence.

The Kermyan mayor, Tareq Rasheed, had told Aswat al-Iraq news agency that the remains of those victims will be buried in the area of Dibin in Kermyan on Tuesday (April 14) in ceremonies to be attended by Iraqi President Jalal Talabani and Iraqi Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barazani.

Representatives of the two presidents attended the ceremonies.
The former Iraqi regime launched a series of campaigns codenamed Anfal during the early 1980s, which resulted in the death of thousands of Kurds, most of them were buried in mass graves all over Iraq.

According to figures released by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), more than 182,000 persons were killed in the Anfal campaign.
During the presidential campaign Barack Obama said that not even genocide was a good enough reason to keep US troops in Iraq.

Last week, President Obama apologized for American action that liberated Iraq from the genocidal tyrant Saddam Hussein.

Just so you know...

A visit to Saddam’s chamber of horrors

The entrance to the genocide museum is in the back of the building. To get there from the front you have to walk past one of the rape rooms. Women’s underwear and contraceptives were found in that room when the prison was liberated by the Peshmerga.
The hardest thing to see was the cell used to hold children before they were murdered. My translator Alan read some of the messages carved into the wall.

“I was ten years old. But they changed my age to 18 for execution.”

But, but... "Boosh Lied, People Died..."

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON, MINISTERS OF TRUTH: “It is quite astounding that the mainstream liberal media — NY Times, Washington Post, NPR, PBS, Time, Newsweek, etc. — has simply offered no substantive criticism of Obama’s flips on renditions, military tribunals, wiretaps, intercepts, Iraq, or — given their past fury over the Bush deficits — the Obama plan to run up more red ink in a year than Bush did in eight. . . . Quite scary, all this chest-thumping about tough journalistic integrity of 2001-8 suddenly devolving into, ‘Hey everyone, we can reassure you that the Emperor really does have clothes on.’”
