Howdy,
This is my first venture onto this thread. I usually steer clear of the threads with lots of replies. I don't have enough time to keep up with them. But, I'm here nonetheless.
I noticed the links to the various audio/video feeds at the top of this thread. The fox audio feed just sits there. My real player tool indicates "connecting..." but it never does. Does anyone know if the link is good? Why might my real player react like that?
I had been listening to my local station (WTVN AM610) to Glenn Beck in the mornings then Rush after lunch. But the station is experiencing server problems and I need something else to listen to.
Any help would be appreciated. Not necessarily with the Fox link, but to any alternative streaming audio sources.
Oh, in the meantime I have been listening to Sean Hannity in the afternoons.

I have heard reports that the channel leading up to Basrah is going to have to be dredged and there is a sunken oil tanker in there too. Wonder if that is where all that soil is?

Very sad news about the Shiite leader. We can expect tough days ahead. These are truly BAD guys...cornered. Major Garrett just said that the man in charge of "punishing" Iraqis after the Iran-Iraq war may running Tikrit bad guy ops.
On the positive side, the Iraqi people had a chance to ransack the UN building, unfortunately coalition troops who have taken control of the UN HQ in Baghdad will be turning it back over to UN control soon. (sigh)
If the Iraqi people get to set up their own government, shouldn't they choose whether or not they want the UN there? The UN condemned our efforts to free the Iraqis while strengthening and appeasing their oppressor all these years. Kofi - Saddam, Saddam - Kofi, they're partners. Let the UN back into Iraq? Shouldn't we at least demand a regime change and a thorough investigation?

Methinks Bob may be dining at the al Saah restaurant.

I had not heard anything about the French. But their chance to take action has passed. Everyone sees they are not on our side now.

I see that the French and Russian embassies were looted. It seems to me looting is a nice cover for CIA folks to get access to those embassies and gain some intelligence.
Chirac just wants to send people in to cover up French involvement. Plus if they send a token force, he thinks he can chime in on policy. Thanks but no thanks will be the administration's answer, methinks.

We've only been there a few hours! What idiots. What the freaking heck did these perfumed princes at the UN do for 30 years while these Iraqis suffered?????
Pox on you, Koffee and your whole house of cards.

It doesn't sound like the link is any good. I don't think there is a good Fox link anymore.

CNN: Shiite Leader in Najif was just assassinated in Najif...I hope this wasn't the one who had been in exile in Iran for the last 12 years, who recently did a TV interview with a US reporter. If so, he had a dozen or so bodyguards with him at all times.

Is that the same leader that issued the fatwah aksing for Iraqi's to cooperate with coalition?

Go to the MSNBC cam and if you don't want to watch a quiet evening in Baghdad go to the bottom left and click on the Daschel briefing whining

Are you thinking of the guy who hadn't seen his 13-year-old son who was on Fox News last night? At first I thought it was the same guy, but I think the guy on Fox last night was a sheik, not a cleric.
To: BagCamAddict
Revenge killing by Saddams troops per MSNBC.

Jane's New Campaign [Fonda alert]
"Fonda added that she hoped Iraqis will feel the same as Vietnamese who told her that 'someday the war will be over, and we're going to have to be friends again.' "

Bob Arnot (MSNBC) said Baghdad is not quiet today. Gorillas shooting and reaping widespread destruction. Wild. A real challenge to restore order. (I kept hearing loud continuous booms last night on the webcam like thunder or bombing.)
