But I don't believe it. For anyone who has ever visited Guangdong and had the opportunity to eat, and shop in the food and pet markets there, it's not surprising at all.

Hey, I live part-time in Vietnam and have shopped in many markets and I've been in pet markets. Did you eat in pet markets? Hmmm.

Basically, nothing that the Chinese are reputed to have done would surprise me - IMHO they are barely removed from savages. Some are nice people though.
