"i sometimes wonder if anybody from 'the troops' stops by this place. if they did, why?"
Just ask the 2 active duty FReepers that posted on this thread today.
Then check previous threads and ask the other active duty FReepers that post here all the time.
Get the answers straight from the military themselves.

You're purposely missing my point. The troops didn't have a single thing to do with the lousy way people here acted. Leave them out of it. Don't hide behind them to justify it.
Do you think that stinking thread was worth the damage that it caused? I sure don't.
Poor judgement was shown, and good people were irreparably hurt by it.
FR suffered loss because some folks were juvenile in their attitudes, and because some folks can't tell the difference between disruptors and those who truly care about what kind of foot we put forward to the world.

You still refuse to acknowledge the poor treatment active duty and their families received.
The difference between you and I is you worry about everyone else 1st.
Stats were posted on Mondays thread that show 1000's of military come to the Canteen each month.
Please at least show them some respect.

BTW The Poetry Branch leaving FR had been in the works long before Monday's thread.

Please at least show them some respect. Patronizing and insulting.
Thanks buddy.
Later.

Please feel free to start another new support the troops type thread.
There is always room on FR for new ones.

Don't worry about it, it's already forgotten. I took your posts as sincere attempts to do the right thing, based on the information you had at the time, and I hold no ill will for you whatsoever.
My posts here were no doubt out of the blue for many in this forum, if they weren't aware of a lot of what's transpired in the past, and what still is going on. I'm sorry that they struck you so abruptly.

PRAYER WARRIOR FIELD TRIP!!
I strongly urge, encourage, and recommend all prayer warriors to go to this thread!!!
The thread gives a link to a fabulous song in which guys in battle tell of some of the miracles which happened to them. Bring Kleenex!
