Fed's attack Texas church and burn it to the ground.....
PBS - WGBH/Frontline ^ | 1995 | PBS

Posted on 04/19/2003 2:05:26 PM PDT by ASTM366

As I do each year, I post information to commemorate the attack by FBI agents in military vehicles on the Branch Davidians compound near Waco, Texas on April 19, 1993.

The Branch Davidians, a reclusive group of Christian believers, had been attacked 51 days earlier by over 100 heavily armed BATF agents, surrounded and subjected to psychological warfare techniques by government agents. On April 19th the feds sent in military vehicles to fill the building at the Branch Davidian compound with chemical agents to flush out the remaining occupants. What resulted was a fire that burned to death nearly all the occupants; INNOCENT men, women, children and infants. Some committed suicide by self inflicted gunshot.

To this day the federal government has never accepted responsibility for the events of 1993, nor have they apologized for their ugly and glaring display of unchecked power.

In a tragic and spectacular act of revenge, Timothy McVeigh and his associates carbombed the offices of the BATF and FBI in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995.

"anti-semitism and apocalypic fundamentalism"

I saw no such attacks. But I do see name calling on your part. Where's you links? You've been called.

Put up or shut up.

I couldn't know; I was living in Pennsylvania then. My objection is to the heavy-handedness of El Reno. Howell was a bad dude, but why kill all to get him?

I felt the same about the guy in Montana who's wife was shot while holding their infant son. He may be an a-hole, but where do you draw the line?

As Michael Rivero so aptly said......

There is no kind way to put it.

The FBI lied to the American public
when it denied using pyrotechnic devices
during the raid on the Branch Davidian Church.

The FBI lied.

The FBI lied.

The FBI lied.

No other way to put it.

In the case of Waco, as has been the case
in many other recent scandals, the FBI,
when it speaks, speaks for the government
as a whole. When the FBI lies to the public,
and the government does not gainsay it,
then the FBI lies with the government blessing
and approval. The lies of the FBI are therefore
the "official" lies of the government as a whole.

The whole Waco disaster is a case study
in deceptions and lies to the public.

.....THUNDER......

Editor's note: Barbara Grant is an electro-optical engineer specializing in the measurement of light.

It looks like she falls short of what's required to analyze and comment on the FLIR analyses that was performed by a number of experts.

Did I see her address anywhere the duration that a muzzle flash lasts (how long the muzzle flash reamains 'visible' to an IR camera) - and that it does not extend over more than one frame of video as the flashes in those IR videos show?

Failure to address that aspect is a failure on the entire project, for that is the crux which proves those are either gunshots or 'specular IR reflections'.

Well that, and the visible photographs that were taken ...

By Barbara Grant

This piece by Grant fails to address issues raised here.

Simply put - she fails.

EVERY one of your 'facts' was fallacious.

SUCH is the state (lack of) education here on FR on this topic.

...read any CREDIBLE book on the topic (read: one not sold at gun shows) and get educated about the topic...

I join in the request for you to source some of your points. I noted that in a later post you did provide a url for the frontline segment you mentioned, how about one or two books or articles that you consider to be credible? Others here have provided you links, you should be kind enough to do the same.

"Osama Bin Ladens neice is a night club singer, do you want to put her on trial for 9/11?"

Your facts are about as good as your spelling. Check your home page and do a spell check on "reference".

I agree with your points, but I have to say, the Branch Dividians were not Christian, because they believed NOT in Christ, but in David Koresh.

Do they have every right to believe that and be unmolested?

Yes. But they were not Christians. :-)
