Reminds me of the weight-loss candy of the early 80's, called AYDS.

The chocolate diet aid called "Aids" didn't last after the early 80's.

Would I drink a soft drink called Sars? Well, I might try it if someone told me that it tasted like root beer. I dunno. I'm not so stupid that I would think that I could become seriously ill simply because the beverage shares the same name as a newly discovered virus, especially since I'm well aware that there isn't any connection between the two.

I remember drinking this in Taipei. It's good, wouldn't mind buying it again if they had it here.

If it's good root beer, yes. I wouldn't let something as stupid as a name stop me from drinking it.

But most people know you won't get SARS simply by drinking Sars
You can't get a cold from going out into the cold weather, but millions of Americans still believe that nonsense.
