Ronald Young Jr. has really impressed me, but then again, all of our military men and women do.
Thanks for posting his pictures.

Thanks for the ping, Dio. Thanks for posting these photos, ConservativeMan.
I can't stop crying when I look at the photos of the troops and the Iraqis. Wonder if that will ever change?

Pelosi: It was a close-run thing, and we nearly got it, but, in the end, you guessed it ladies, the man, as usual, got the power back. So I say, Put on a happy face. And it will help to have some of hillary's plastic surgery to make that happen. But what the heck, just look good for the cameras. What's that? No, I don't have stock on Kodak. But we are going to consider allowing Congressmen to own stock in anything concerning cameras, the film industry, political magazines, and so on, without having to give account for it, because after all, it's what we do here in DC.

This is perhaps a rather shallow observation, but I have never seen so many incredibly good looking men (and brave), it makes me wish I was many years younger. Shallow, I know. NOT shallow! I agree 110 percent. I think part of it is they are proud to be in the US military now that blubba x42 "don't ask don't tell" is gone. I think another part of it is they have a well-defined mission and the backing of most Americans. And lastly, I think an awful lot of it is they are being bathed daily in prayers by at least thousands of people. It's put grace on their faces and beauty to their movements that isn't normally so visible.

[Bush appears] a little impish That's the word that's been on my mind to describe his look today. It pops up from time to time, to my delight. He has an effervescence and irrepressibility about him that are delightful.

Thanks for the ping, Dio! I've been away for a bit and this is a wonderful thread to see upon coming back.
Great pics and comments, ConservativeMan55. Try as I might, I can't pick a favorite. They're all awesome. The President, our awesome troops, the Iraqi children tearing up the pictures of So-dammed (hehe!).
Thank you for taking the time to put this beautiful thread together.

Dr. Bob Arnodt was talking about this on MSNBC this morning. His story was that the little girl approached Jenkins (Dr. Bob didn't release the name, I'm taking it from this article) with a grenade. Jenkins took it from her, heard a ticking, turned to shield her from the blast, holding the grenade next to his chest. He dropped to the ground before it went off, it exploded near his leg. He lost his leg, but survived the blast.
Dr. Bob says his action saved the little girl's life...
