I am starting to think this is no natural disease. Beginning to think this thing my be man made.....and why wouldn't China, who loves Americans so much, not want to share it with us?
....forget Wal-mart for a while folks.
....unless you trust what China tells you!!!!!!

They are saying 4 days to be specific. The greatest majority of imports from china come via ship and take a minimum of 3 weeks.
Ah, well its all safe then.
TWO Questions;
Didn't you and your husband recently return from an extended visit to Communist China ?
Isn't your husband involved in several large investments in Communist China ?

Every seen the amount of goods coming out of China via aircraft? Thousands of tons of cheap Chinese products arrive daily! I am highly doubtful of that, although I'll keep an open mind. What is your source of information for that statement?

Made in AmericaMaybe, but prices will go through the roof.
The great successes of Marshall's and Ross and Home Depot and T.J. Max and Lowe's are directly related to the massive influx of goods from China.
I don't have a clue where this is heading.

An outstanding post. P. S. How many latex gloves, surgical masks, and paper gowns from China could be infected?
These aren't sterile, folks. Not required to be, unless so labeled.

Free Trade can kill you

Gamma irradiation might kill any virus on specific goods that can be so treated. Foods, plastics, any sort of manufactured goods with a few exceptions.
I wonder if SARS can stand 10 minutes in ethylene oxide vapor...?
Point being, it ought to be possible to 'sterilize' everything being brought through ports of entry.

Some animals are shipped live by plane for the pet and food trade both from the U.S. overseas and from overseas to the U.S.
Some types of critters are placed in wet gunny sacks inside boxes with air vents to keep them damp and in the dark while others are shipped dry.
I would think this would be a perfect way to spread SARS or other diseases.
With SARS causing a slump in the markets in Hong Kong,Taiwan, etc.,I've had to make some major changes in my work but there are still a lot of animals and their containers traveling by jet.
One example of a critter shipped here in damp containers would be the snakehead fish that can live out of water for some time if kept damp. There are many others going both directions.
