Although Jesse's interference makes it less likely. Yeah, even though I happen to agree with Jesse on this particular situation, he really needs to step-back and keep his nose out of such matters. After everything he's done, his interference will only serve to fuel skepticism about the qualifications of any black coach who may be hired. Overall, it would be much better that the candidate be selected based on his own qualifications, not because (as some are bound to believe) Jesse demanded it.

Sly Croom would be a great choice for Bama strictly on merit ... I hope Jesse's mouth hasn't screwed up his chances.

No, Alabama is not going outside the "Bama family" this time. They have chosen two straight outside the family. One ran off into the night and the other partied all night. I think they are finished with these guys. It looks like it is Mike Shula's job if he wants it.
