Freeped. I wish polls on tax cuts were only open to those that pay the taxes. Furthermore, I wish that voting were only open to those that pay the taxes and on a weighted scale similar to voting based on # of shares in a company owned when it comes to stock!

I think that there should be no representation without taxation. Only those who pay taxes should be allowed to vote. I think we would see a marked turn in this country if this were the case.

Actually I think the "no" voters are correct, but not for the reasons they would be likely to give. We really need a $900 billion tax cut with 200 billion retroactive and the rest this year. Now, THAT would jump start the economy.
