Kelsey Grammer & Cast of Frasier Anti-Gun Propagandists
13 May 2003 | PatrioticAmerican

Posted on 05/13/2003 7:51:58 PM PDT by PatrioticAmerican

I was watching Frasier this evening, Tuesday, 13 May, and found another shining example of the propaganda that the liberals of this country use against Americans, pro-gun people.

The show was dedicated to Niles learning to shoot and discovering that his newly found gun range friends are “New World Order” militia.

The show starts innocent enough, with Martin, Nile’s ex-Seattle cop father, taking Niles to an indoor gun range where they meet three other shooters; three other plaid and blue jean wearing shooters, as though we wear nothing else. Niles is encouraged to try firing a round, and he loves the sport. During the show Niles continues his love for shooting and is invited to go to a gun show by these three.

Of course, this gun show thing has Martin proclaim that he only shoots one or twice a year and that gun shows are no big thing for him. While at the gun show, Niles is invited to go to the three friend’s “Idaho Compound”. The three guys are discussing an electric generator for their compound for the coming “New World Order”. With that, Niles leaves the gun show in a hurry.

This is pathetic as everyone knows the NWO is a leftist liberal idea and not militia talk. Also, not all compounds are in Idaho. Right? I mean, I own guns and I have a compound. Right? OK, I don’t have a compound, but the show makes out that everyone who shoots does.

The show also tries to state that guns should be held outside the home. Nile’s wife suggests that he is not allowed to buy a gun, when Niles replied that he would store the gun in the indoor range’s locker. The show tried to pass off the propaganda that guns belong in lockers by saying that he wouldn’t have a gun in the house because his mother-in-law lives there and she is crazy. So much for laughs, the suggestion is still there.

Niles makes fun of our founding fathers by mocking the American idea that our founding fathers used firearms to create the freedoms we enjoy. Although David Hyde Pierce (Niles) said as much in a weak attempt to support the notion, the show’s context of the statement was a direct mocking, having the other characters roll their eye and smirk. Even Nile’s made the statement with a “You do believe me, don’t you?” look about his face.

I didn’t realize what ninnies Kelsey Grammer, David Hyde Pierce, John Mahoney, Jane Leeves really were. Jane, of course, is British, anyway. The British gave up their freedoms long ago. Obviously, they produced this show as a direct attack on gun ownership.

According the liberals that produce and partake in this show, all gun owners are “gun nuts”, as Kelsey Grammer (Frasier) repeats. They believe in stereotyping all gun owners as wearing plaid and blue jeans. (I hate plaid!) The show makes a direct relation that gun owners are members, or desire to be members, of compounds in Idaho, and are members of a coming New World Order. According to these liberals, guns should not be stored in the home.

It seems Hollywierd is on the anti-American attack, again.

I stopped watching that show couple years ago. Always the same tired jokes about Frazier and Niles being stuck-up twits.

I used to watch Frasier religiously. Until the night I discovered 24. Jack Bauer would eat'em all for lunch. ;^)

I didn’t realize what ninnies Kelsey Grammer, ...really were.

Aside from the character of Frasier, Kelsey Grammer is best known for being the voice of Side Show Bob on the Simpsons, and being a raging alchoholic rummored to be involved with an underage girl a few years back.

Were you expecting a rocket scientist?

This is pathetic as everyone knows the NWO is a leftist liberal idea and not militia talk.

You know it, I know it, and most people with IQ's above room temperature know it...but your average TV viewer who gets all their information from the tube...well...many will believe anything they see on TV, and set their value systems accordingly.

Btw, I can't vouch for all of the actors on that show, but Kelsey Grammar, from his public comments, leans on the right. He's a good guy. Remember they are "acting" and just showing up for work. Blame the leftist writers for this one.

It was all over for me as soon as Niles hooked up with Daphne.

Good Grammer

It appears as though actor Kelsey Grammer has come out of the closet...

...that's right - he's conservative.

Actor Kelsey Grammer, a rare Republican supporter among Hollywood's liberal elite, was in the audience Saturday as President Bush raised money for would-be GOP governor Bill Simon.

In an interview, the "Frasier" star called himself a "big fan" of the president, saying, "I think he makes a lot of sense and he's had some clarity when it was very important."

You are creating bias, where none is there. Show hardly portrayed all gun users and nutty militia types... it was a harmless comedy. Yes I saw it.

Martin (Niles father and an ex cop) take Niles to gun range, Niles does not want to shoot and is scared of gun, Niles fires gun, finds out he enjoys it, starts hanging out with guys he meets there. All is going well until Guys invite Niles to their "Compound".... Martin asks further and finds out they are militia NWO extremists... Martin confronts Niles, Niles thinks he is just jealous because he has made some "normal non snooty friends".... Niles then asks his "buddies" a few more questions and agrees they are militia extremists and quickly books out of there.

It hardly portrayed guns as evil, or all gun owners and anti government militiamen. It was nothing more than sit com storyline. Didn't see anything at all that smacked of anti-gun propoganda.

I agree. As long as Niles thought he was going on a vacation with his new friends to shoot guns in the wilderness, he was excited and happy. He found out their politics, and he changed his mind.

If anything the show was anti-NWO. I don't think it was at all anti-gun.

No rant - just an observation on a guy whose only talent is a truly great voice used to read lines written by other people. By the way, I even recall Rosie O'Donell saying, in the wake of 9-11, that she loved Bush (that sure didn't last long, did it...), so I tend to take the discovery of conservatives in Hollywood with a certain amount of "So What?".

Just chatting...have a nice one :)

I disagree. "Martin" makes the statement that he only shoots once or twice a year, hardly a fan of guns. The real gun lovers turn out to be militia freaks. Hence, the association that gun lovers are the nut cases.

#17 - Ditto!

Besides, my mother is a die-hard Republican, always has been, and she believes in all the gun control laws. She seriuosly thinks that no one "needs" an AR-15 or 50 cal, much less more than a gun or two. She is all for the Assault Weapons Ban (AWB), and she has been an invited guest to many White House functions. She was/is a serious supporter of Reagan and the two Bushes.

Being Republican has nothing to do with a belief in the right to firearms, nor being a Dem means being anti-gun. My wife's family are all mutli-generation blue-collar Dems, but they all fight for the 2nd for more than many Republicans fight for the 2nd.

Frasier is on its last legs and, like a lot of shows where the stars and writers are just showing up for paychecks, its starting to air "very special episodes" due to lack of funny ideas.
