Ping for confused graduates at a Catholic college. These kids need to buy a vowel. Or better yet, reimburse their parents.

FECAL SEXI sure hope that with this post we can agree that this topic has been exhausted.
Please?!

I would bet that this uber leftist and her 99 comrades don't follow the Catholic teachings at all and in fact work to undermine the church.

Pervert? Says who? There is quite a difference between incest and homosexuality Truly. Explain rationally to me, if you can, why homosexuality would be morally superior to say, bigamy, or say, consensual incest. What exactly elevates it in your mind above the practices Santorum named? Certainly you are aware that in many places in the present world, as well as many times in the past bigamy was normative. You cannot be oblivious to the fact that incest is "often" practised between consenting adults.
When you actually have a logical argument in place of your emotional attachments, then come back. Santorum made a valid point that's been distorted for the benefit of establishing [or maintaining] a special place for one particular sexual deviance at the expense of all others. But just becuase it's more popular, that doesn't lend it any moral weight.

Santorum is my Hero too ! Oh if God could send us more like him to Washington ! It has been so long since someone there had the guts to call it like it is. They are so afraid of losing a vote. How it must drain their cowardly souls.

Just reading the manual. He's the Creator, He knows what's best for health and life. But if you want to make it up to suit yourself, your god is too small.

I'm not a Catholic, so I don't know, but weren't Jesuits conservative not that long ago? Jesuits have always had a reputation for being conservative, but since Vatican II many have largely chosen the easier path of a more liberal theology. Jesuits Colleges may still be run by Jesuits, but youll probably find more atheists than Jesuits teaching in them and this was true in 1974 when I graduated from Loyola College in Baltimore, a Jesuit school.

Do you know the NAME of such a group? I believe the Pius X Society adheres to the traditional beliefs and liturgy of the Church such as the Latin Mass.

" Never could understand why we let this issue define us"
IMO, the definition comes from a leftist media who is enamoured with the gay/lesbian population.
2000 long form census data puts the gay/lesbian population at less than 1%. (I think that is correct, might be lower)
The notion that up to 10% of the population is homosexual (the number cited by gay activists) is fiction, promoted by a group who wants to mainstream their lifestyle as "normal".
At less than 1% of the population, the homosexual lifestyle is deviant, not normal; Therefore, opposition to the implementation of their adgendas in the public education system, at the elementary and middle and high school school levels is critical.

...the Jesuit university... Today's catholic universities are hardly Catholic; in fact they're a disgrace!<.p> By 2005, although classes are beginning in makeshift buildings this fall, Ave Maria College will be completed outside of Immokolee, Florida.
This will be a true Catholic college that will be in strict communion with Rome and won't have pro-abortion or homosexual agenda proponents speaking on campus ever!
The idea of a tradition Catholic school is the dream of Tom Monaghan, CEO of Dominos who believes saving a soul is more important than even pizzas and is indeed "putting his money where his heart is...."
Notre Dame, Georgetown, St. Joseph University, et al have become dens of leftist and immoral activism and it's good to know that parents will have a choice.

Time to move on to real issues.Right-o, officer. Nothing to see here. Oh, really?
FECAL SEX About 80% of gays (see Table) admit to licking and/or inserting their tongues into the anus of partners and thus ingesting medically significant amounts of feces. Those who eat or wallow in it are probably at even greater risk. In the diary study,5 70% of the gays had engaged in this activity--half regularly over 6 months. Result? --the "annual incidence of hepatitis A in...homosexual men was 22 percent, whereas no heterosexual men acquired hepatitis A." In 1992,26 it was noted that the proportion of London gays engaging in oral/anal sex had not declined since 1984.
What we want our "scholars" to be exposed to are lies that homosexuality is perfectly okay and that anyone that disagrees should be severly castigated.
In case you haven't been watching Sara, the agenda that homosexuals are beating America over the head with is as serious as the al Qaida terrorist threat.
If we stand around and watch this mugging of Judeo-Christian faith and values without doing a thing, we are as complicit in this evil as the doers are!
Your comments are those of an accommodator.

You'd best dispel that myth. Not a myth, Sink.
Novus Ordo, and all it's "trappings" are even now unraveling before your very eyes.
Once the Vicar of Christ (if not the ailing present pope, but his successor) has the "North American" Roman Catholic Church in proper marching order this "new" Catholic Church will be history!
How much longer do you think that Jesus Christ will tolerate the blasphemy that the Church has become? Of course you remember the joke that ends with God saying "in a minute."
To: LuisBasco
Novus Ordo, and all it's "trappings" are even now unraveling before your very eyes. Nope. The GIRM was just released, and there's another one on the way.
The Novus Ordo is in place, and will remain in place. The Tridentine Mass will be offered, as required.
Everybody will be happy, except those who want to drive the Novus Ordo out of the Church.
My advice to you: find a Tridentine Mass, and be happy.

"I believe the Pius X Society adheres to the traditional beliefs and liturgy of the Church such as the Latin Mass."
They are also in schism from the Catholic Church. As one fine priest I know says, "when going down a road, you can fall into both the right or the left ditch." Error is error, be it left or right, if not in union with the Holy See.
To: steplock
"The jesuits have all broken completely away from the traditional Catholic Church."
Be careful when claiming ALL Jesuits. There are some very fine, orthodox Jesuit priests, such as Fr. Mitch Pacwa, from EWTN, and Fr. Joseph Fessio, who is the publisher of Ignatius Press, and very involved with Tom Monohan, in the new Ave Maria University in Florida. Very fine, faithful, orthodox priests.

"The 100 students, who threw hissy fits and walked out, would make great RAT legislators in Texas. When confronted with something they don't like, they flee"
I applaud the students for taking a stand instead of sitting on the fence. I'm not approving of their politics, but am condoning the fact that they have a backbone and made use of it. This is nothing different from the NC State students walking out on Phil Donahue.
The analogy to the Texas legislators is a stretch.
