The sad thing is that it took this f-ing long for the left to get what they've deserved since the 70s. Sounds like the students and relatives of them at this college have got their 'S' together. Excellent!

Wow--this is a sea change to behold...

He characterized them as boys from places such as Mississippi and Arkansas who joined the military because there were no job opportunities. Typical elitist mentality. Of course, to people who are good enough to write for the New York Times, boys from Mississippi and Arkansas are more than expendable, due to their low sophistication level (I suppose).

HEHEHE...Nothing funnier than a lib on campus being told to shut-the-f-up.

Not only what they have deserved, but what they have delivered - just ask the likes of Jeanne Kirkpatirck, Clarence Thomas and Pat Buchanan. The left has never had an appreciation or tolerance of divergent opinion which emanates from the right. They have finally gotten as good as they have given, and they are none too happy.
Boo frickety hoo.

What the left needs to get through their tiny little socialist minds is, They have the right to speak, just as we have the right to ignore them

This is the fourth report of liberal speakers being booed at graduation ceremonies that I have seen here in as many days.
Good. Even liberal students are awakening to the fact that these tired old liberals are all about ME ME ME. They steal the stage for their tired old mantra and it is not acceptable anylonger, it seems.

Great News!
Now the parents of those still in this college should send letters to the board demanding that whoever selected this speaker be fired immediately. If that is the president/dean or whoever, it doesn't matter.
If the leftwing clymer is not fired, tell the board their children will not be returning to college this coming September.
This is how the parents and great students can clear these left wing snakes out of our universities/colleges.

Further proof that the NY Times slogan should be: "All the Leftist propaganda, that's unfit to print." People are getting fed up with Leftists vomiting all over them with impunity.

What is really ironic, the 1st marine that was killed in the war came from less than a 100 miles from that college.
I wonder who did this weenie boy's fact checking,
I forget it was a fellow traveller by the name of Blair.

Great point there.
Something else that occurs to me, is this idea that our poor little GIs are only there because of poverty and no where else to go. I don't doubt some of this exists, but I have to tell you that from what I've seen, to a man our troops seem highly motivated and happy to have been involved in liberating Iraq from the likes of Hussein.
Leftists just can't fathom this. They have about as much connection to the military and the grunt's ideals as ifidels do to Christians.

If the leftwing clymer is not fired, tell the board their children will not be returning to college this coming September. Fired? Seems a bit extreme.
Some commencement speakers just don't have a clue. When I graduated from electronics tech school, the picked some old codger retired teacher to give the commencement. All he did was complain about litter in the hallways and trivial stuff (litter wasn't really a problem.) Everyone, students, family, and the faculty just sort of rolled their eyes at this "uplifting" and "forward looking" rant. :-)
I mean half the students were adults, nearly everyone behaved in a respectable manner in class, the building wasn't trashy. I had a very good experience there, graduated with honors, new most everyone in our class. This guy was just old and bitter. I guess they picked him for some sort of honor. Really backfired.

We also have the right to show our disapproval, and rejection of their leftist ideas.
To: jlogajan
I'm sure that this was no accidental scheduling of this guy.
