This is a reality slap in the face.
Women need to learn that getting married and having babies is what it is all about. Do it young and live those good years in your forties and fifties. Do NOT live the good years in your twenties and thirties then expect to get the husband and babies in your forties.
Take it from someone who married late and started babies at 37. I am tired and my body has gone to pot. Thank God I found a good husband who understands and not one who wants the young shallow chickies. He is also secure in what he needs. The young bodies go to pot after a few years but no one will spoil him like I will.
Someone once said, marry an older woman, she is more grateful. I appreciate my marriage.

"physical states are temporary. By the time she reaches 35 that same elite German Panzer has turned into a wasted carcass on the Kursk battlefield. It can be seen belching black smoke into the Russian night from 10 miles away"

Reading to this point confirms the author is an idiot.

I'm in my 40's, a father, and have been divorced for 8 years. The wisdom, grace, and maturity of women in my age group is a treasure, and a turn-on compared to the flighty, disillusioned 20 somethings.

Granted, for the most part, women in their 20's defy gravity better than when they are in their 40's. Using that as the sole critierea in selecting a partner is indeed shallow, not noble as the author suggests.

Women are told that males use younger women for sex. We do not. We marry younger women. It is older women we use for sex.

Let me get back to you on that one!

Marriage for the majority of our species' history provided a clear benefit to both parties. A man would be granted sexual relations with a woman and also be provided with progeny in the form of his children. A woman would be given a protector and a provider to ensure that she and her children were taken care of as she aged. Female promiscuity has destroyed the bonds that tie men to women. The progress of the "progressive" forces of the sexual revolution have caused the sexes to now be genuinely suspicious of one another and, for a great many members of male the population, compels us to not "tie the knot" at all.

Great stuff. Bump.

Across the board most of what is labeled as advice for females are fabrications based on the denial of human nature. Women are told that males use younger women for sex. We do not. We marry younger women. It is older women we use for sex.

Truth bump.

Purposeless sex is the greatest barrier to the love we can experience. The female aping of the male's bad habits is an allure to no one.

I wouldn't say no one. ;^)

To begin with, the show's producers are both admittedly gay males and it is my belief that this program is far more indicative of gay male sexuality than it ever will be of female sexuality. The sad fact that so many females are able to relate to it is more a testament to self-absorption than it is an actual reflection of life for older women

If women relate to the show, then it must contain an element of truth, regardless of what this idiot may believe. Women are fully capable of making their own judgements without the preseumptive scribblings of some third-rate male columnist...

This seems to get posted every few weeks, but that's ok with me. I love the line about young women being like German panzers! Btw, I know women in NYC who are in their 30s, single, professionals, not conservatives. One (who has been featured on the cover of the NY Post, so she is no backwater freak) recently told me that she doesn't know anyone like the women in "Sex and the City." That matches my experience, too.

"Any man will drive down the road in a car with 300,000 miles on it but only an insane fool would purchase one."

A sad but painful truth.

"By the time she reaches 35 that same elite German Panzer has turned into a wasted carcass on the Kursk battlefield. "

Utter nonsense. This overstated, hyperbolic writer hasn't a clue. I'd take a 35-year-old over a 20-year-old any day of the week as a partner.

As to the older man marrying younger woman thing: There is a formula for second marriages for men, the so-called "trophy wife." Divide the man's age by two and add seven years. It's eerie how often the formula works.

My wife and I married young. One of the great pleasures of our marriage is growing older and more mature together. There's no substitute for the closeness that comes from sharing a life together, ups and downs.

IMHO the sexual revolution and feminism were frauds perpetrated against women. Now, many women in effect work 1 1/2 or 2 jobs, caring for a home as well as a "career," and often end up single and lonely in middle age.

As much as I like Bernie's social commentary I must say that as a single male about to hit thirty who lacks the social skills for successful dating I find that it leaves me depressed as hell.
